00:03:39 00:03:43 influencer makes a promotion or
00:03:41 00:03:45 something like that the the audience
00:03:43 00:03:47 naturally is more trusting there are
00:03:45 00:03:50 more warmed up audience instead of going
00:03:47 00:03:52 to a cold Facebook audience for example
00:03:50 00:03:55 of people that never heard of you before
00:03:52 00:03:57 excuse me but the problem with
00:03:55 00:04:02 influencers is that to do them properly
00:03:57 00:04:04 it takes time and what I mean time is I
00:04:02 00:04:06 mean like you want to build a real
00:04:04 00:04:08 relationship with your influencer
00:04:06 00:04:09 instead of just being somebody that's
00:04:08 00:04:10 just going to be like hey here's 25
00:04:09 00:04:12 bucks
00:04:10 00:04:14 make a promotional post for me here's
00:04:12 00:04:16 what to say here's what the post right
00:04:14 00:04:18 that way of doing influencer marketing
00:04:16 00:04:22 worked five years
00:04:18 00:04:23 okay it doesn't work like it did even
00:04:22 00:04:26 last year right now it's all about
00:04:23 00:04:29 building a real relationship with your
00:04:26 00:04:33 influencer okay and more of a long-term
00:04:29 00:04:34 relationship with your influencer okay
00:04:33 00:04:37 to the point where hey you maybe you pay
00:04:34 00:04:40 them you know $100 a month
00:04:37 00:04:42 and they do like two promotions a month
00:04:40 00:04:43 for you okay it's a win-win situation

00:04:43 00:04:48 order to get them to those kind of deals
00:04:45 00:04:50 with your influencer it takes time why
00:04:48 00:04:51 does it take time because you're gonna
00:04:50 00:04:52 have to be direct messaging them you're
00:04:51 00:04:55 gonna have to be emailing them
00:04:52 00:04:57 contacting them on Facebook sending them
00:04:55 00:04:58 care packages contacting them on the
00:04:57 00:05:00 phone right and a lot of people
00:04:58 00:05:02 unfortunately a lot of people watching

00:05:02 00:05:05 right why are a lot of people and you
00:05:04 00:05:07 might be you why are you gonna refuse to

00:05:51 00:05:55 it right so think of me maybe as like a
00:05:53 00:05:57 personal brand right this is a personal
00:05:55 00:06:01 brand I'm on here on YouTube providing
00:05:57 00:06:03 you value right same thing another on
00:06:01 00:06:05 the fishing YouTube channels right
00:06:03 00:06:06 there's guys you know fishing youtubers
00:06:05 00:06:08 that are just posting out content
00:06:06 00:06:10 recording themselves fishing right only
00:06:08 00:06:11 difference is me I'm recording here
00:06:10 00:06:13 toking about influencers with you how
00:06:11 00:06:15 to go market to that guy and get them to
00:06:13 00:06:16 promote your products but a lot of these
00:06:15 00:06:18 people these personal brands as they're
00:06:16 00:06:21 skeptikal right and rightfully so
00:06:18 00:06:24 because when you are going to go the
00:06:21 00:06:27 influencer route you cannot break their
00:06:24 00:06:29 trust when you break the trust with your
00:06:27 00:06:31 influence so give it to give you an
00:06:29 00:06:33 example guys let's say you send your
00:06:31 00:06:35 at your influencer right or you don't
00:06:33 00:06:37 send your product to your influencer and
00:06:35 00:06:39 you just say hey make this post for us
00:06:37 00:06:40 here's 25 bucks and influencers like
00:06:39 00:06:42 sure whatever I don't care I just want
00:06:40 00:06:44 money right which a lot of them are like
00:06:42 00:06:46 that because they don't care about their
00:06:44 00:06:48 audience right but when they make that
00:06:46 00:06:50 post and then guess what happens say
00:06:48 00:06:50 they the the your quality of your
00:06:50 00:06:51 product sucks
00:06:50 00:06:53 you've never even touched your own
00:06:51 00:06:56 product and that influencer made that
00:06:53 00:06:57 post right now guess who's gonna get in
00:06:56 00:07:00 trouble for that the influencer the
00:06:57 00:07:02 influencer just lost the trust with his
00:07:00 00:07:03 audience now he's probably losing
00:07:02 00:07:06 followers he's getting a bunch of hate
00:07:03 00:07:07 messages in his direct message or in the
00:07:06 00:07:09 comments of his YouTube channel or
00:07:07 00:07:12 whatever platform the influencer is on
00:07:09 00:07:14 right that is a huge huge no-no when you
00:07:12 00:07:16 break trust with your audience like that
00:07:14 00:07:18 especially an influencer is trying to
00:07:16 00:07:20 promote your product you basically screw
00:07:18 00:07:22 them over you basically screw their
00:07:20 00:07:23 business over because it's hard to
00:07:22 00:07:25 bounce back from something like that
00:07:23 00:07:27 right because their audience is always
00:07:25 00:07:29 now gonna question them on why did you
00:07:27 00:07:31 ever pry did you promote that you didn't
00:07:29 00:07:32 even buy it yourself you don't even use
00:07:31 00:07:35 it yourself this is why I encourage a
00:07:32 00:07:38 long-term okay we send our products our
00:07:35 00:07:40 influencers we add our our influencers
00:07:38 00:07:41 to our our members areas we indoctrinate
00:07:40 00:07:44 them into our brand who tell them our
00:07:41 00:07:45 story we make them feel like hey they're
00:07:44 00:07:47 part of the team okay because that's
00:07:45 00:07:48 essentially what you want to eventually
00:07:47 00:07:51 turn it into you want that person to be
00:07:48 00:07:52 like you're you know a sponsored person
00:07:51 00:07:54 by you right where they promote your
00:07:52 00:07:57 products and services okay now that is
00:07:54 00:08:00 if you have more time okay if you have
00:07:57 00:08:02 more time go the influencer out YouTube
00:08:00 00:08:04 Instagram or to the best places to get
00:08:02 00:08:06 influencers but it takes time to build a
00:08:04 00:08:07 real human connection with them and I'm
00:08:06 00:08:09 telling you guys if you're watching this
00:08:07 00:08:12 video right now like I am being 100%
00:08:09 00:08:14 serious nobody is doing this in in in
00:08:12 00:08:15 Shopify drop shipping roll we're all you
00:08:14 00:08:17 know everybody's listening the shop buy
00:08:15 00:08:19 drop shipping gurus like they're not
00:08:17 00:08:21 telling you to build relationships
00:08:19 00:08:23 they're just like oh here pay okay cool
00:08:21 00:08:24 all right make promotion okay no guys
00:08:23 00:08:26 that's not influencer marketing real
00:08:24 00:08:27 influencer marketing is about building
00:08:26 00:08:29 real relationships long-lasting
00:08:27 00:08:32 relationships with your niche I promise
00:08:29 00:08:33 you it'll pay 10x it sucks in the
00:08:32 00:08:34 beginning because it takes a lot of your
00:08:33 00:08:35 time
00:08:34 00:08:37 you have to message them on all
00:08:35 00:08:39 different platforms you got to sometimes
00:08:37 00:08:41 send them care packages you got it you
00:08:39 00:08:43 know get them on the phone tok to them
00:08:41 00:08:43 right show that you're different than
00:08:43 00:08:44 ever
00:08:43 00:08:46 but he else that's hitting them up
00:08:44 00:08:48 hundreds of times a day getting them to
00:08:46 00:08:51 try to promote some product you got to
00:08:48 00:08:53 show that you're different the next
00:08:51 00:08:55 option is if you have more money let's
00:08:53 00:08:57 say you have more money than you have
00:08:55 00:08:59 time right you're you're at a you're
00:08:57 00:09:01 maybe stuck at a job like all day but
00:08:59 00:09:02 you got a lot of money okay if you got a
00:09:01 00:09:04 lot of money and I'm not toking you
00:09:02 00:09:07 have to be a millionaire by any means
00:09:04 00:09:10 but you do need like about 2 grand 2
00:09:07 00:09:12 grand - 3 grand I'd say - budget is paid
00:09:10 00:09:16 advertising alright and buy paid
00:09:12 00:09:17 advertising I mean Facebook as Google
00:09:16 00:09:19 Ads we're going to primarily be toking
00:09:17 00:09:21 about Facebook advertising because that
00:09:19 00:09:22 is kind of mice like my sweet spot I
00:09:21 00:09:24 absolutely love Facebook advertising
00:09:22 00:09:26 love the way the algorithm works just
00:09:24 00:09:28 thinking I just a lot I can nerd out
00:09:26 00:09:29 toking about Facebook ads for four
00:09:28 00:09:32 hours so now I'm gonna go into it too
00:09:29 00:09:34 much but if you have more money you go
00:09:32 00:09:35 with Facebook Ads and the reason who you
00:09:34 00:09:37 need a lot of money with Facebook guys
00:09:35 00:09:39 now some people will tell you and um you
00:09:37 00:09:40 know what guys I'm not gonna act like
00:09:39 00:09:42 I'm the perfect person ever and I always
00:09:40 00:09:45 my some of my content here on the
00:09:42 00:09:47 channel doesn't go out of date you last
00:09:45 00:09:48 year when I was making videos about
00:09:47 00:09:49 Facebook ads I said yeah you know what
00:09:48 00:09:52 you could probably start Facebook ads
00:09:49 00:09:54 with like 200 bucks 300 bucks and
00:09:52 00:09:56 probably start seeing some results and
00:09:54 00:10:00 that was the case you could've okay you
00:09:56 00:10:02 could've but now as we progress further
00:10:00 00:10:04 we have to evolve our e-commerce
00:10:02 00:10:08 businesses okay and it's not simple
00:10:04 00:10:09 enough anymore to just go with a fresh
00:10:08 00:10:11 Facebook account and promote your
00:10:09 00:10:12 products and the reason that you can't
00:10:11 00:10:14 just do that
00:10:12 00:10:16 and it doesn't matter how good you are
00:10:14 00:10:18 at Facebook Ads guys it's like a lot of
00:10:16 00:10:19 people think like like if you gave me a
00:10:18 00:10:22 brand new business and I start running
00:10:19 00:10:24 ads to it look I'm gonna get amazing
00:10:22 00:10:26 results that's not the case because when
00:10:24 00:10:29 you have a new Facebook account right
00:10:26 00:10:31 Facebook doesn't know who your buyers
00:10:29 00:10:33 are okay and that's really important
00:10:31 00:10:36 because think about if you go target
00:10:33 00:10:39 barkbox with facebook advertising right
00:10:36 00:10:41 facebook has to basically go make its
00:10:39 00:10:42 best guess who your buyer is but it
00:10:41 00:10:44 doesn't even know who your buyer is so
00:10:42 00:10:46 it's basically just gonna be throwing
00:10:44 00:10:48 throwing stuff at the wall
00:10:46 00:10:50 duping something stiks okay and it's
00:10:48 00:10:52 gonna start trying to get you buyers
00:10:50 00:10:54 that is why your cost per purchase on a
00:10:52 00:10:56 fresh Facebook pixel will typically be
00:10:54 00:10:59 higher and that is expected that is no
00:10:56 00:11:01 okay but you got to be able to push
00:10:59 00:11:03 through that right and that's why you
00:11:01 00:11:05 need the money all right because you
00:11:03 00:11:06 might be just breaking even you might be
00:11:05 00:11:08 making a little bit if you have your
00:11:06 00:11:09 funnel properly optimized but you might
00:11:08 00:11:11 actually be losing a little bit of money
00:11:09 00:11:14 early on in Facebook because Facebook
00:11:11 00:11:16 needs buyers it needs you need to feed
00:11:14 00:11:17 the beast you need to feed the algorithm
00:11:16 00:11:20 and as soon as you get closer to that
00:11:17 00:11:21 five hundred thousand of buyers yes that
00:11:20 00:11:23 bene right
00:11:21 00:11:26 that's when Facebook can now be like you
00:11:23 00:11:28 know what I know who his buyers are now
00:11:26 00:11:30 okay I can connect the dots and I can
00:11:28 00:11:32 serve these ads to the right people
00:11:30 00:11:34 because Facebook guys I'm telling you
00:11:32 00:11:36 they want to make you money they want to
00:11:34 00:11:38 make you money so they can make more
00:11:36 00:11:40 money and so that their customers right
00:11:38 00:11:42 there are the people that use Facebook
00:11:40 00:11:44 can have a better user experience okay
00:11:42 00:11:47 but the the problem when you go into
00:11:44 00:11:49 Facebook with a fresh pixel a fresh ad
00:11:47 00:11:51 account fresh everything like you don't
00:11:49 00:11:53 have the data Facebook needs to make you
00:11:51 00:11:55 successful and that's why you need that
00:11:53 00:11:56 higher budget because your cost per
00:11:55 00:11:57 purchases are gonna be higher so I hope

00:12:25 00:12:30 some influencer sales you can now take
00:12:28 00:12:32 that load that data about those buyers

00:12:34 00:12:38 now you face your facebook ad cost will
00:12:36 00:12:40 actually be cheaper right so that's why

00:12:42 00:12:45 more money that's kind of the play that
