How to Run Facebook Ads for Shopify 2023 (FULL Setup & Tutorial)

before you can start running Facebook ads, there's a couple of things we need to set up. first, we need to create a Facebook business page for our store, and then we need to create a Facebook business manager account. then, inside of that manager account, we need to create a Facebook ad account, and then we need to create a Facebook pixel. a Facebook pixel is simply a piece of code that we're going to put on our store, which is then going to track all the activity that our visitors are going to be doing on our store, which is then going to be the data that we're going to use to optimize our campaign, so we can see exactly what works and what doesn't work. and then, once we have all this set up, we can start creating our campaign and set up our ads. alright, so the first thing we got to do is create our Facebook business page. so log into your Facebook account and then here on the left side, where it says Pages, we want to click here, and then we want to click on create a new page. then we want to give our page a name. so this would just be our store name- in my case, perfect paw apparel, let's say store- and then we also have to decide on a category, so this would be, let's say, clothing. then here we can also put in a description about our page and then click on create page on the bottom left. and then here we do want to make sure to fill in as much information as possible for our Facebook page, which will help us keep our accounts, our ad accounts, healthy and not get us banned when we start running the first ads. I'm gonna skip this part for this video, because I do have a complete tutorial about how to create your Facebook business page. I'm going to leave a link to this down below in the description and I'm gonna just skip through this real quick here and I'm going to move on to the next step. now we have created our Facebook page and we also need to create our Facebook business manager, or meta business manager, whatever you want to call it. so let's go to businessfacebookcom and then, once you're here, click on create an account. then here we're going to type in our business name and also an email address, then click on submit. now we are inside of the Facebook business manager. the next step is to create our Facebook ad account. so you want to come over here to accounts and then go to ad accounts and then click on ADD and click on create a new ad account. we're going to give our ad account a name, choose the currency and then click on next. then choose my business, click on create and now we have to assign someone who will manage this ad account. in our example, it's just going to be ourselves, so we're going to choose our own Facebook profile here, and then we're going to just do full control. so we're going to take this box and click on assign. great, now we've created our Facebook ads account. the next step is to create a Facebook pixel and put that pixel on our Shopify store so that Facebook can track everything that our customers do on our store so that they're actually able to optimize who our ads will be shown to. this is absolutely essential if you want to make sure you're able to optimize your ads. so let's go to data sources down here and click on pixels and then click on ADD, and then here you can change the name of the pixel if you want to. I'm just going to leave it as it is and click on continue. then let's click on setup pixel now, and then we have a couple of options on how we can get the pixel on our store. the easiest one, if you use Shopify, is just use this first option: add code using a partner integration. so we're going to choose this option and then here, because our store is on Shopify, we're going to choose Shopify and now Facebook tells us to connect our Shopify store to Facebook. so we're gonna need to go to our store, to our Shopify store here, and start connecting our Facebook account with Shopify. so let's go to online store and then go to preferences, and then we're going to scroll down to where it says Facebook pixel. here we're going to click on set up Facebook and this will redirect us to the page where we can add the Facebook sales channel. so let's just click on ADD sales channel here at the top, and now, as we can see here on the left side, we have created a new sales channel for our store, which is Facebook. now we need to go through all these steps to connect our Facebook account to this store. so let's click on connect account. then here we need to connect the Facebook page that we have created before. so this would be perfect: paw Apparel Store. then click on connect and then we need to connect a Facebook business manager account that we have also created before, so I'm just going to use this one here. click on select, then connect, and then here Shopify is asking us how much data they're allowed to share from our store with Facebook. now I would recommend to choose maximum here, because that will allow Facebook to optimize your ads better. so I'm choosing maximum here and then click on Save. and then here we want to connect the Facebook pixel that we have just created before, which is going to be the source of all the data from our store. so let's click on connect here. then we have to agree to the terms and conditions and click on submit for review. so now you can see it says your shop is in review. however, that is referring to the shop on Facebook, which is not something we're setting up right now. all we want to do is be able to run ads to our Shopify store and, as you can see here, we are already able to run ads on Facebook and Instagram, because we have now added the Facebook sales Channel and installed the pixel. so we can now come back to our Facebook business manager and move on with the pixel setup process. so we can now check this box. I've completed the setup on Facebook and then click on next. then here we want to check if our pixel is actually working. so we're going to go and get the URL of our website so we can just go to our Shopify store, go to online store, click on this icon here and then just copy the URL from the top of the browser. then go back here to Facebook and just paste in the URL. click on send test traffic. now sometimes it does take some time until the pixel is active on your store. so if it doesn't show you that your pixel is active right away, don't worry, just come back in like 30 minutes and then try again to send some test traffic and see if the pixel is active, and eventually you should get to this page where you can see that the pixel is active. then what you want to do is click on next. then here let's click on finish. and now we want to connect our Facebook account and also our Facebook ad account to this pixel. so we're going to click on ADD people here at the top. choose our own Facebook account, make sure we have the full control over this pixel. click on assign and done and then click on ADD assets and then choose our Facebook ad account. here click on ADD and done. and now, to make sure our pixel works properly, we also need to verify our domain. so we need to go to Brand safety here on the bottom left, click on domains, then go to add and click on create a new domain. then here we simply put in the domain of our store and then click on ADD. and now we need to add this meta tag, which is basically just a piece of code, onto our HTML code of our store. so all we need to do is just copy by clicking on this code right here, then go back to our Shopify store, go to online store themes and then go to actions. here click on edit code and then we want to go to theme liquid here on the left side. now this looks quite confusing, but just don't freak out, just follow what I'm doing here. all we need to do is just paste in that code in the header section. so here, as you can see, the header starts. so we just click here, click on enter, so we get a new paragraph. then we just paste in the code, just like this, and then we click on Save. that's all you need to do to enter the code onto our store. and now we can go back to Facebook and check if that actually works by clicking on verify domain. here and there we go, our doma.

How To Connect Shopify Store to Facebook & Instagram Shop in 2022

hi guys, um, so in today's video, I wanted to show you how you can connect your Shopify store to a Instagram or Facebook shop so you can sync your products automatikally and you can have that shop on Instagram and Facebook so that you can you're able to sell whatever products you like on those social media platforms and integrate the two. okay, so let's get started. so, to begin this, you you first need a Facebook page and an Instagram account. obviously, once you have that and you have your Shopify store, or you need to actually first go to to your business Suite. you need to go create an account and if you're in your business Suite, what you're going to need to do is you're going to need to have a business, your business manager set up and you're going to need to create a Commerce account, and that should be over there. but what you're going to need to do, if you click on your Commerce manager over here inside your business Suite- so your business Suite is very your business manager- is going to to be for your different accounts. so if I click on the account that I'm looking for and I go to Commerce manager, it's going to show me that I have a product catalog already set up and you need this catalog to be able to sync this your products to, from Shopify to meter. and you do that by simply just adding catalog and then running through these, the wizard. so if, for example, you have an e-commerce store and just carry on, next you'll say, connect to a partner platform and you'll select Shopify and then you'll go to Shopify and you would then log in with your Shopify account and that will sync and connect your Shopify store to your commas manager and that will sync your products and and by doing that, you can have your catalog set up on meta. and then, once that is done- if you just go back, once that's done, then you're just gonna have to create, we're gonna have to sync your, your Shopify store, to Facebook or meter or Instagram and you, that will be, you'll be able to display all your products and make it shoppable on those social media platforms. so to do that part of it, you're going to have to go to apps over here and we're gonna have to go to- if you click on- apps and sales channels and then from here we're going to need to add Facebook and Instagram. let me just go back, I just need to search for it, click on here and we're going to search for Facebook in the Shopify App Store and we're going to click on Facebook and Instagram by meta and click on add app. you can click on ADD cells Channel. okay, so now we've added the Facebook and Instagram sales channel to our Shopify store and then from here all we have to do is we're gonna have to follow this wizard over here and we're going to select start setup and then we're going to need to connect our Facebook account to our sales Channel. That's now installed on Shopify. we click on connect account. it will bring up your the accounts that are in your account Center and you can just click on that. click on both if you want Instagram on its own or if you want Facebook on its own. you can select either or or. you can just select both and you can connect. it's going to ask you if you what the sharing preference you want, and I'll just cover the default and I'll say save. and then it's going to ask if you want to connect a Facebook pixel, and we do want to do that so that we can track our conversions. so we can just say connect. if you do not have one already, you can just click on create new and that will create you a new pixel and that will connect to your Shopify store. so I'll just click on connect and I'll select, I agree and submit for review. so once you do this, you can um, it'll take a couple of days for them to review your, your shop and just make sure that you following all the the policies according to Facebook and Instagram, and once everybody viewed it, it usually takes about two to three days and then from there you will be able to get approval for that and then, once your approval comes through, you'll be able to sell on Facebook and Instagram and you'll be able to view your shop and you'd also be able to tag all your products when making posts on Instagram or Facebook. if you like this video, please don't forget to subscribe to the channel. but that's how you connect your Shopify store to Facebook and Instagram. thank you, goodbye.

How To Connect Shopify To Facebook Shop | Integration & Setup Tutorial

how to connect Shopify to Facebook: shop integration and setup tutorial. hi guys, welcome back. today I'm giving you a tutorial on how to connect your Shopify to your Facebook, so let's get started. if you have a business on Facebook or on Shopify and now you're thinking to expand it to the other platform, we can connect our Shopify Store to our Facebook store really easily. we will also be able to import products and manage our shop. so let's get into it. first of all, you will go to your shopifycom and log into your store, and this is where you will get. this is your main admin. then you can go to your businessfacebookcom and select the page you want to connect to your Shopify. the easiest way to connect a Shopify Store to our Facebook is through a pixel. we add a Facebook pixel to our Shopify store. now we can actually add the Facebook app to our Shopify, or we can do the this through Facebook as well. the I think the easy way is if we do it through Facebook, because we just need to create a pixel and it gives us the option of connecting our Shopify, so we don't have to add an app separately on Shopify again. so what you guys need to do is, once you have shop on Shopify, just open it up, log into it. then go to your businessfacebookcom. go to your meta business. read, select the story or the business page you want to connect- I have selected this one right here- and my business account. then you have to click on all tools and click on events manager. this is where we will be creating our Facebook pixel. it will take you to your businessfacebookcom events manager and here we will be able to create the pixel. to create the pixel, you will get this option right here: connect data source. select it. then you have to select the web option. keep in mind you can create one pixel per account, so if you already have have a pixel, then you can use that one, but you cannot create a new one. so you can select web. click on connect. give your pixel a name. I'm gonna call it Facebook, Facebook pixel. click on create pixel. now you have to enter your website or you can select. I don't have a website. click on continue conversion API and metapixel- metapixel only. so I'm going to select this one. click on next. now it will just introduce the conversion API you're just going to click on next. next and setup: set up with partner integration. set up with conversion API Gateway or setup manually now because we are connecting our Shopify. Facebook actually provides an integration and we will be able to set up our integration really easily. you don't need to set up manually within conversion API or use the coding so we can use the no coding away. you can see, setup the conversion API with an integration for a partner that you already use, such as shop P5. so they even gave Shopify as an example. no coding is required, so I'm going to select this option. click on next. so we have different partners available on Facebook. we have zapier WordPress through Commerce, and then we have Shopify. you're gonna select Shopify from here: connect to Shopify. so if you have set up your Shopify store, you're gonna just select. I have completed this setup on Shopify. log into your Shopify account and follow the instruction to set up your connection with Facebook. click on next. now you have to enter your Shopify right here, your URL for the website. so I'm just going to enter my store so that they can find it. we're gonna click on send test traffic. it will open up my store for you. so you can see that they opened up my store with the you know link that I have added. so it's just taking a second to kind of verify the connection. we need to verify if our pixel is working correctly or if we are getting the traffic from our Facebook to our account. so that's what it's doing right now now and it has opened up my story. it's a test that we can do before we verify the connection and once the connection is done, you will click on confirmation and your pixel will be added to Shopify and your connection will be added. then I will be able to check out my Shopify in the data sources right here. it will show me my Facebook pixels that we have created. so this is the one that I just created. you can see it's activated and we have actually added it to our Shopify store. so if I take you to my Shopify store now, let's actually open up our admin and now I will be able to check my pixels from my settings and it will actually show me these stories that I have connected. if I take you to my apps and sales channel right here right now, it will have Facebook. if you want to add Facebook through your Shopify, we can also do that. we can add our Facebook to our Shopify with the Shopify App Store. so you can see we have Facebook right here as our sales channel, so I'm gonna select it. let's open up our sales Channel and now it will switch to a Facebook store right here and it'll show me the business page that I have on Facebook and I'll be able to manage it, import products and more. we can also bring traffic from Facebook to our Shopify store so that we can sell more products and we will be able to run a successful business and, of course, make more money. so this is how it will open up your Facebook and, if I take you back, let me actually give you a quick tutorial for how to add Facebook integration Facebook app to your Shopify. for that you will have to open up your Shopify App Store. I have already added it. that's why it looks like this: in your Shopify App Store, you have to search for Facebook and it will show you Facebook channel right here by Shopify. bring your products to people on Facebook and Instagram. so, keep in mind, once you add your Facebook, your Instagram is also so added. so if you're wondering how to add Instagram, then it's going to be the same tutorials for you guys, because Facebook and Instagram both are owned by meta and it gives us a one meta business Suite from where we are actually adding the pixel from our event manager. so it's the same thing for our Facebook business and Instagram business. you have to just select the app from here. click on add app. you can see I have already installed it. once it's installed, you're gonna click on connect and it will open it up for you. click on start setup and you will just add your pixel that you created on Facebook to your Shopify and you will be able to connect your Shopify to your Facebook. this way, you will have your own business on Facebook, Instagram and Shopify. you will be able to expand and build your brand. I hope that I was a big help to you guys, and now you know how to connect Shopify to a Facebook. once you have installed your- you know- Facebook to your Shopify. what you can do is we can actually create ads from Shopify as well, so you can see right here, advertise your products on Facebook. what I can do now is I have some products on Shopify. you can see right here if I take you to my products and it will show me the products that I have on Shopify and let's say I want to actually create an ad for the products that I have on Shopify and run the ads on Facebook, because Facebook has the audience. it has millions of users and the ads actually do pretty good and help us bring traffic to our story and to our product. so you will select the product from here and if I take you to the, we will have to open up our apps again. so I'm just going to click on apps right here and search for Facebook. here it is, I'm gonna open it up so you can see right here we have our Facebook ads and now I will click on start setup and I will be able to create ad campaign to get my product in front of millions of Facebook users who are most likely to convert into a customer. so it's very easy to connect a Facebook to Shopify and it not only helps us to expand our business but also to to promote our business and we will be able to get more customers to our Shopify through Facebook. so you can go ahead and actually open up your sales Channel and create ads with your meta business Suite. I hope that I was a big help to you guys. don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up. leave a comment.

Facebook Shop Shopify Tutorial | Complete Integration & Setup Step By Step 2022

all right, guys. so in this video, i'm going to be showing you how you can go ahead and utilize the new facebook shop feature. so we're going to be adding facebook in as a sales channel to our shopify store and we're going to be um syncing our products between our store and our facebook page and utilizing the facebook shop. so the first thing that we need to do is we need to go over a couple initial steps here that you need to already have done in order for us to go ahead and set this up. so the first thing we need is, obviously, you need to be logged in to your store and then you need to have a facebook page created for your business. so just make sure you have a facebook page created- um- already for your business. and then you want to make sure that that facebook page is linked to the business manager account that you're using um to like, run ads and things like that. and then you want to make sure that you have the associated facebook ad account created as well, and then you want to make sure that you have a facebook pixel created. so, essentially, you just want to make sure that all four of these things are done and set up before we can go ahead and set up our facebook shop. so if you don't have this stuff already set up, i do have a a couple of videos that already go over each individual one of these different steps. so if you don't already have all four of these steps completed, go ahead and check the links in the description and you'll be directed towards videos that address each uh one of these individual steps. so, that said, we're going to move forward, assuming that you already have all four of these um baseline necessities created. so what we're going to do here is come over to sales channels in our store and click the plus icon and we're gonna get the option to go ahead and add a sales channel. so we're gonna go ahead and scroll down here to facebook. we can see it's free to add and we just bring our products to facebook and instagram users. so this is going to allow us to utilize the facebook and instagram shop feature. so we're gonna go ahead and add this in now and it's going to go ahead and load up. so we just have to go ahead and wait for this and then, once it loads up here, it's going to see go ahead and say welcome to the facebook channel and we can come down here and, uh, it's gonna say, like we can go ahead and start our setup for facebook shop, instagram shopping and facebook marketing. so in this case, we're gonna go ahead and set up the facebook shop. so we're gonna click start setup and then the first thing you need to do is go ahead and connect your facebook account. so when you click on this here, you'll be prompted to go ahead and log in to your facebook account. so i'm going to go ahead and do that right here and then, once you log in, we'll get the check mark here and then, at this point, we have to go ahead and select the business manager. so, as you can see, i have a few business managers here and you want to go ahead and select the business manager that has your facebook business page, uh, linked under it. so in this case, i'm going to go ahead and select the correct facebook business manager that is controlling the facebook business page for our store. so i'm gonna go ahead and click uh, select that. and then we come down here and then we just have to go ahead and select the facebook page that is associated with our store. so i'll go ahead and click connect on that and then it's going to come down here and show facebook pixel tracking. so this is where we need to select the facebook pixel that is uh correlated with the store. so i'm gonna go ahead and select that. and then, lastly, right here, we have to uh create a facebook commerce account so we can allow shopify to create a facebook commerce account on our behalf so we can sell on instagram and facebook, and obviously this is a requirement, so we have to go ahead and click create there. so we just have to go ahead and wait for this to go ahead and complete and once it does, we can go ahead and just click on review terms and we can go ahead and read through these and click accept. and at this point we have completed all the steps. so we can go ahead and just click finish setup and we're gonna go ahead and be prompted right here. where it says you are now ready to use facebook shop, we're done setting up and then check our product status to make sure, uh, all of our products have synced without errors. so once we set this up, all of our products will automatikally sync with our facebook shop and we can see their product status right here. it can take up to 15 minutes for your product information to sync and then, once products are published, you can start tagging them on instagram or create facebook ads around them. so now we've went ahead and set up the facebook shop. so if we come down here- product status- this is where we can check on our status here. so if i click on view all products, we can see that it's going to bring up our product page here with bulk editor and it's going to go ahead and have everything already by default um selected to be available on facebook. so we can see that all three of these products right here are already selected as being available on facebook. so in this case, we are good to go in this aspect. so at this point, all you need to go ahead and do now is just wait for the product information to sync and then, once it does, uh, you are good to go and that's it. your facebook shop will automatikally be up and running. so that's how easy it is to go ahead and create a facebook shop and link it with your shopify store found. if you found this video helpful, go ahead and leave the video a thumbs up, subscribe to this channel for more content and i'll see you guys in the next video.

How to connect Shopify to Meta and create Facebook and Instagram Shops and Tag Products

Welcome to this training on how to set up your Facebook and Instagram shops using your Shopify store, So I will preface this training with the fact that this area changes a lot, So even in the last year, we've seen lots and lots of little changes, So if your screenshots look different to mine, if something's not working as it should, please let me know, And I'll update the training Right. The other thing I want to mention is, because there are so many steps involved in this. I've actually put together a little checklist for you, So jump in into the download section of this lesson, and you can download the download, which will be your checklist with all of the steps that we're going to cover off. Now let's dive in. The first thing we need to do is make sure that you have a business manager account. Now here's where things get a little bit tricky, because there's lots of different variables here, So the first thing we're going to do, though, is we're going to dive into businessfacebookcom, So if we just go straight to that URL, that will show us what we're working with. So there's kind of three different things that you might see at this point. So, first off, you might see a screen that looks a little bit like this. Now, what that tells me is that you definitely have a business manager account set up, So you can go ahead and click on the little cog icon at the bottom there and go straight into business settings. So our goal for this next step is to get you with a business manager account set up and into business settings. So, first of all, if this is what you see, go straight into your business settings and then just wait for us, wait for the rest of us to catch up. Now the other thing you might see is the screen here. So this tells me that you don't have a business manager account set up. So I want you to go ahead and click the blue button that says Create account, And I want you to go ahead and create that business manager account. Once you're in there, I want you to click on business settings And, again, just wait for us once we get there. Now, the most common thing you might see when you go to businessFacebookcom is this: So this is business suite and it's like a dashboard. Now, this doesn't mean you don't have a business manager account. It can be hiding behind here. So let's jump in and have a look and see if there is a business manager account hiding behind this business suite. So what we're going to do is look for more tools here on the left. So I'll click on more tools Now. remember, our goal is to get to business settings. so some of you might actually see business settings listed down here. If that's the case, I want you to go ahead and click on it. Now, this is telling me that I don't have a business manager account set up, so I'll go ahead and create that. So once I've done that, I'm going to show you the other thing that you might see if you're in that business suite. Now, first of all, follow me through, if you need to, on how to create a business manager account. Really simple: I'm just going to pop in my details here. So my business is called Quirky Pet co. I'm going to pop my email address in there and then we will have to confirm that. So once I've done this, I'll need to jump into my emails and confirm that I have access to that email address. Great, So I've confirmed my email address and now does is take me into my new business manager account And remember, our goal is to get to business settings. So I'm going to click on business settings down here, and this is where I want everyone to be. Now you may - let's take a step back. You may have gone to businessFacebookCom. It's taken you into your business suite, Stik with me Business suite. You've clicked on more tools, but you don't have business settings down here. If that's the case, I want you to click on Ads Manager. I'm going to get in sort of through the back door, So we're going to click on Ads Manager and that's just going to take a minute to load. Once that's loaded, I'm gonna click on the three lines here on the left, the little hamburger, And I'm gonna find business settings there. so you can see how there's so many different ways that we can get to business settings. But hopefully you've found your way here, because this is where I need you to be. I need you to be in your business settings. Next, we're going to start running through the next steps on that checklist. So the next step is to make sure that our Facebook page is here sitting within our business manager. So we're gonna click on pages, We're going to add a page and we're going to add a page that we already own Now. this means that you need to be an admin on that page. So I'm going to click on add a page and I'm going to search for the page I am looking for There. it is there, and then I'm going to click add a page. Now Facebook is going to recognize that I'm an admin on that page or I own it, and it's going to say, Yep, we'll pop that in there. Now, if someone else owns that page, you'll need to get them to approve that. They'll get a request to say that this business manager has asked for ownership of that page and they'll have to approve it. So we'll close that down. The next thing on the list is to make sure that your Instagram account is within the business manager as well, So I'm just going to jump in there. I also noted on the checklist that it needs to be a professional account. If you don't know what I mean by that, go back to the lesson on how to set up your Instagram account correctly and you'll see how to switch that to a professional account. But I'm going to click on Instagram accounts on the left here. I'm going to go add and see here We need to connect up our Instagram account. so I'll click on that. It's going to ask me to log in. Great. So I'm logged in there to my Instagram account. I'm going to click save info, save information, And now what it's asking me there is which ad account to associate with that Instagram account. So don't worry about that. We'll just click on Finish and then done, Great. So the next thing we need to do is create our Pixel. So we're going to click on data sources and pixels and then we're going to add and we're going to create a new Pixel. So the Pixel is the little piece of code that connects up our Shopify store with our ad account and also feed through our products and things. So it's a really important step. so I can just leave it as that is the name. Don't worry about putting the URL in there. We're going to click continue, Cool. And we're just going to say continue managing my business. So don't worry about taking any more steps on your Pixel. You can tik that off on the list. Next thing on the list is making sure that your domain is verified. So what we need to do is go down here to brand safety, Click on domains we're going to add. Now I want to put you to put in the domain of your Shopify store without the www. So this one is QuirkyPetcoCom. We're going to click Add and then that's going to give us a little bit of code. See this meta tag here. So what we want to do is we want to copy that meta tag and we need to take that, And then we need to take that over to Shopify. So let's head on over to Shopify, Right? So now we're in Shopify, We're going to click on our online store and we need to put that little meta tag inside the header tag on our theme. So we're going to click on Actions, We're going to click on edit code. Once that's loaded, we are going to click on our theme, liquid, which is this top one here, And then can you see here where it says head. So there's the start of the header code and if we scroll on down, we should see the end of the header code. See it here Now. I always put the meta tag in the very last bit before the end. So pop a couple of enters in there and then just pop that meta tag in there. So that's what we have taken from Facebook. We're going to click Save and then we need to pop back over to Facebook and we n.
