Importing Reviews into Your Shopify Platform

Hey everyone, this is Thomas from Mad Mine Studios. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to import reviews into your Shopify platform.

1. Go to your Shopify reviews page. You can find this in your apps section by searching for Product Reviews.

2. Download the CSV template provided by Shopify. This is the formatting in which your reviews need to be in for Shopify to accept them.

3. Fill in the necessary information in the template. This includes the product handle, state, rating, title, author, email, body of the review, created at date, and reply.

4. Copy the product handle from your product page and paste it into the template.

5. Save the template and download it as a CSV file.

6. Go back to your Shopify product reviews page and click import reviews.

7. Choose the file you just saved and click import reviews.

That's all you need to do to import reviews into your Shopify platform. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or visit our website at madminestudios.com. Thank you for watching!

Shopify Fundamental Advantages

Hi, my name is Jordan and I am the President at Coalition Technologies. Today, we will be discussing Shopify, one of the most popular e-commerce platforms out there. We will be looking at its fundamental strengths and why it should be considered as the go-to platform for many businesses.

Why Shopify?

1. Approachable for Novice E-Commerce Users: Shopify is probably the most approachable e-commerce platform for someone who is a novice or new to e-commerce. It has a huge wealth of documentation and support materials, making it easy to use for even the smallest businesses.

2. Simplistic Approach: Shopify has a simplistic approach to discounts, catalog management, and other functionalities, making it appealing to new and professional e-commerce businesses.

3. Focus on Simplicity: Shopify understands that simplicity and ease of use have a fixed or abstract dollar value to any company, regardless of its size. It makes it easier for you to scale your e-commerce offering and onboard new people, which is vital for any growing business.

4. Incremental Addition of Products and Services: Shopify has incrementally added to its product and services, including payment solutions, fulfillment, and point of sale. This helps reduce headaches and frustrations when deciding which solution to go with for your business.

Shopify's fundamental strengths lie in its approachability, simplistic approach, focus on simplicity, and incremental addition of products and services. It is a great fit for many businesses and can support different sizes and needs. What Will Shopify Do Next?

Coalition: Where Shopify is Heading in 2020 and Beyond

Coalition is a leading digital agency in the United States that has been focused on the e-commerce market for the last decade. They are well known for their design and development, SEO, pay per click, paid social media marketing, and email marketing.

Shopify Fulfillment Network:

Shopify has recently made a big commitment to the fulfillment network by acquiring warehouses and launching software and hardware to support those warehouses. Coalition predicts that Shopify will provide kits of hardware and software solutions to merchants to integrate into their warehousing and fulfillment centers. This fits with Shopify's emphasis on increasing their take rate on a per merchant basis.

Cloud-Based ERP Solution:

Shopify recognizes that the ERP software solution space is weak, fractured, and overpriced. They could create a cloud-based ERP solution that creates more appeal to true enterprise brands and increases their perceived value. Merchants would not have to pay additional third party costs to tie into Shopify.

Consumer-Facing Marketing and Advertising Solutions:

Shopify will continue to push into consumer-facing marketing and advertising solutions by creating content that can be used for advertising opportunities. The Shop app could eventually be a place where they sell ad placements to merchants who are looking to get choice placement for their brand or product within the app.

Coalition predicts that Shopify will continue to innovate and expand into new areas in the e-commerce market. With their emphasis on increasing their take rate on a per merchant basis, they will provide merchants with the necessary tools and solutions to integrate with Shopify's e-commerce platform. Shopify's recent share price increase has generated extra interest, and merchants are curious about where Shopify is heading.
