00:03:17 00:03:20 when i scroll down here i'm seeing
00:03:19 00:03:22 you know pet stuff and then i'm seeing
00:03:20 00:03:24 household collection and then i'm also
00:03:22 00:03:26 seeing like a bunch of christmas stuff
00:03:24 00:03:27 okay you know it would have been totally
00:03:26 00:03:29 different if i landed on this store and
00:03:27 00:03:30 it was just like a christmas vibe to it
00:03:29 00:03:32 and there's just like a bunch of
00:03:30 00:03:33 christmas ornaments and poise and
00:03:32 00:03:34 decorations for the home
00:03:33 00:03:36 then i would be like okay cool right
00:03:34 00:03:38 that makes a little bit more sense
00:03:36 00:03:39 right this is just you know seems a
00:03:38 00:03:41 little bit too broad for me so first
00:03:39 00:03:43 impressions you know
00:03:41 00:03:44 it's just a generic shopify store that
00:03:43 00:03:46 hasn't been a lot
00:03:44 00:03:48 of effort put into it right that's my
00:03:46 00:03:50 first impression on this okay
00:03:48 00:03:51 now things you can change around here
00:03:50 00:03:53 right as we move into our second
00:03:51 00:03:55 category of niche right is
00:03:53 00:03:56 actually toking to a specific niche
00:03:55 00:03:58 here right now again i would prefer
00:03:56 00:04:00 store here if i landed here if i landed
00:03:58 00:04:01 here and i just see
00:04:00 00:04:03 you know just a very nice christmas
00:04:01 00:04:05 background on the store right i can see
00:04:03 00:04:06 you know uh the ornament different
00:04:05 00:04:08 ornaments being used people using the
00:04:06 00:04:09 different kinds of ornaments and
00:04:08 00:04:11 and things like that that would give it
00:04:09 00:04:12 a little bit more appealing right it
00:04:11 00:04:14 would be speaking you know directly to
00:04:12 00:04:15 somebody that you know
00:04:14 00:04:17 buying mode to buy christmas you know
00:04:15 00:04:18 decorations and ornaments right
00:04:17 00:04:20 right now it just doesn't feel like that
00:04:18 00:04:21 besides right here and why do i say that
00:04:20 00:04:23 because it's kind of
00:04:21 00:04:25 random right it's kind of random now
00:04:23 00:04:26 guys it's always more important to niche
00:04:25 00:04:28 yourself down
00:04:26 00:04:29 than try and appeal to a lot of people
00:04:28 00:04:32 now why do i say that well because
00:04:29 00:04:34 this store to me it's go it kind of goes
00:04:32 00:04:36 for a uh you know a funny kind of
00:04:34 00:04:37 christmas vibe right like so this 20 20
00:04:36 00:04:39 ornament obviously you could see like
00:04:37 00:04:41 the the little ornaments are wearing
00:04:39 00:04:43 masks and there's hand sanitizer
00:04:41 00:04:44 there's toilet paper on this ornament so
00:04:43 00:04:46 you know the
00:04:44 00:04:48 as we move into the offer right the
00:04:46 00:04:49 offers are there right like i'm ranking
00:04:48 00:04:51 this high i'm impressed i'm impressed by
00:04:49 00:04:53 these offers because they're funny right
00:04:51 00:04:55 and people will buy these kind of offers
00:04:53 00:04:57 right so firstly right here i like this
00:04:55 00:04:58 right they're very good impulse purchase
00:04:57 00:05:00 products now is there some crazy
00:04:58 00:05:01 differentiating product
00:05:00 00:05:03 i don't know i i you know i would have
00:05:01 00:05:05 to go to amazon to see if i can actually
00:05:03 00:05:07 buy this product from amazon
00:05:05 00:05:09 um i'm gonna say yes but still if you
00:05:07 00:05:10 run ads to like an impulse purchase
00:05:09 00:05:12 product like this
00:05:10 00:05:14 it'll typically work well because like
00:05:12 00:05:15 it's funny it's a gap it could make a
00:05:14 00:05:17 good gag gift so
00:05:15 00:05:19 as far as a christmas offer the offer is
00:05:17 00:05:20 right i i like these offers but
00:05:19 00:05:22 here's where it kind of falls apart
00:05:20 00:05:24 because if we're going after more so
00:05:22 00:05:26 like funny kind of gag gifts
00:05:24 00:05:28 like christmas related then what do like
00:05:26 00:05:29 handmade gnomes or like this
00:05:28 00:05:30 gnome ornament have to do with it right
00:05:29 00:05:31 like if you look at these two ornaments
00:05:30 00:05:33 they're funny
00:05:31 00:05:34 you know this little uh you know toilet
00:05:33 00:05:36 seat cover and stuff like that this is
00:05:34 00:05:38 funny right this like aprons are funny
00:05:36 00:05:39 right but then these two are kind of
00:05:38 00:05:41 just like different so again be niche
00:05:39 00:05:42 specific right it is so much more
00:05:41 00:05:44 powerful
00:05:42 00:05:45 for your business if you just say hey
00:05:44 00:05:46 you know what we're gonna be a christmas
00:05:45 00:05:48 store
00:05:46 00:05:49 that sells funny christmas ornaments
00:05:48 00:05:50 right then saying hey you know we're
00:05:49 00:05:52 just a christmas store
00:05:50 00:05:54 why do i say that because again when
00:05:52 00:05:55 you're marketing to a specific person
00:05:54 00:05:57 right it's very difficult to get a
00:05:55 00:05:59 message across
00:05:57 00:06:00 with like a facebook ad right because
00:05:59 00:06:02 there's a lot of advertisements out
00:06:00 00:06:04 there so if you can kind of
00:06:02 00:06:05 stake your claim for one specific niche
00:06:04 00:06:06 right it's going to be a lot more
00:06:05 00:06:07 powerful
00:06:06 00:06:09 so that's what i suggest for this store
00:06:07 00:06:10 right out of the gate what is like you
00:06:09 00:06:12 know pig just
00:06:10 00:06:13 stake your claim be like hey we sell
00:06:12 00:06:14 funny christmas ornaments right and
00:06:13 00:06:15 that's it
00:06:14 00:06:17 right that that is all you have to do
00:06:15 00:06:18 and just sell those kind of products
00:06:17 00:06:19 don't even worry about like
00:06:18 00:06:21 you know pet stuff so you know what i'm
00:06:19 00:06:22 seeing here is a general store right and
00:06:21 00:06:24 if you guys don't know what a general
00:06:22 00:06:24 store is it means essentially you know
00:06:24 00:06:26 this is a
00:06:24 00:06:28 an outdated uh you know a strategy
00:06:26 00:06:29 that's you know worked you know like
00:06:28 00:06:30 eight to
00:06:29 00:06:32 nine years ago when drop shipping was
00:06:30 00:06:33 like you know everybody thought it was
00:06:32 00:06:34 like a whole brand new thing
00:06:33 00:06:37 basically people just throw on random
00:06:34 00:06:37 products uh into a shopify store and
00:06:37 00:06:39 make money
00:06:37 00:06:41 right but now like the the market is so
00:06:39 00:06:42 educated about that it takes a lot more
00:06:41 00:06:44 branding
00:06:42 00:06:45 and effort to get those across so right
00:06:44 00:06:46 now it's just kind of generic right
00:06:45 00:06:48 you're like what like what do cats
00:06:46 00:06:50 and things like that have to do with
00:06:48 00:06:53 like ornaments right i think that's like
00:06:50 00:06:54 it doesn't make any sense right so that
00:06:53 00:06:55 to me right there
00:06:54 00:06:57 tells me like that somebody will come to
00:06:55 00:06:58 the store and be like wait what
00:06:57 00:07:00 like they're not gonna buy from me
00:06:58 00:07:01 because the credibility's shot right
00:07:00 00:07:02 they're gonna they're like wait what the
00:07:01 00:07:04 hell do pets
00:07:02 00:07:06 have to do with christmas ornaments
00:07:04 00:07:06 right now it's going into the household
00:07:06 00:07:08 collection here
00:07:06 00:07:11 right more random products right like
00:07:08 00:07:13 ultrasonic diffusers towel holders
00:07:11 00:07:14 right hockey tables right like what is
00:07:13 00:07:15 going on here right like what is the
00:07:14 00:07:16 purpose of all of this
00:07:15 00:07:18 right and then you have two pages of
00:07:16 00:07:19 general products now i you know i call
00:07:18 00:07:20 this you know
00:07:19 00:07:23 throwing against the wall until and
00:07:20 00:07:24 hoping something stiks right because
00:07:23 00:07:26 what you're doing here is you're just
00:07:24 00:07:27 you know bringing products out there
00:07:26 00:07:29 into the universe and hoping
00:07:27 00:07:31 something makes money right when you
00:07:29 00:07:32 could all you have to do is just take
00:07:31 00:07:34 one or two of these products these
00:07:32 00:07:35 christmas ornaments right and only sell
00:07:34 00:07:37 those like this one
00:07:35 00:07:38 like this is oh and look you have a ton
00:07:37 00:07:40 of variations of it too can these be
00:07:38 00:07:41 customized too
00:07:40 00:07:43 awesome so that that's a plus right so
00:07:41 00:07:44 these can be customized products but i
00:07:43 00:07:46 would just like just sell
00:07:44 00:07:47 this specific one right like don't go
00:07:46 00:07:48 out there trying to sell like 100
00:07:47 00:07:50 different ornaments like
00:07:48 00:07:52 just be like hey this one because i can
00:07:50 00:07:52 tell you a lot of people would love this

00:09:14 00:09:16 things like that can make all the
00:09:16 00:09:18 difference in
00:09:16 00:09:20 your conversion rate so all in all i
00:09:18 00:09:21 think the offer is good i think the the
00:09:20 00:09:23 you have some winning products here that
00:09:21 00:09:24 can sell really really well during q4
00:09:23 00:09:25 you're probably already selling these
00:09:24 00:09:27 pretty pretty well

00:09:56 00:10:00 offers for that specific niche group of
00:09:58 00:10:02 people right so whether that's pets
00:10:00 00:10:03 whether that's household household
00:10:02 00:10:04 gadgets or whether it's christmas
00:10:03 00:10:06 supplies
00:10:04 00:10:07 i personally you know unless you're just
00:10:06 00:10:09 trying to get a money grab i would never
00:10:07 00:10:11 start a business around
00:10:09 00:10:12 you know just uh christmas stuff now of
00:10:11 00:10:13 course you can make a whole bunch of
00:10:12 00:10:14 money but
00:10:13 00:10:16 like the rest of the year you're not
00:10:14 00:10:18 really making anything right so again
00:10:16 00:10:19 unless you're selling specifically you
00:10:18 00:10:20 know during different kind of holiday
00:10:19 00:10:22 gifts and things like that
00:10:20 00:10:23 like i probably wouldn't recommend doing

00:11:26 00:11:29 there's like there's no rhyme or reason

00:11:29 00:11:33 like nothing else here guys so it's a
00:11:31 00:11:33 basic shopify store which is fine right

00:11:33 00:11:37 leading with some 25 off here 25 off

00:12:28 00:12:33 point across right so that's pretty much

00:12:35 00:12:38 than nothing don't ever let me uh or
00:12:37 00:12:40 anybody else discourage you at least you

00:13:17 00:13:20 think these are winners right so
00:13:18 00:13:21 your offer is strong there even though
00:13:20 00:13:23 there's really no differentiating factor
00:13:21 00:13:25 but still it's a strong impulse purchase
00:13:23 00:13:27 product right that people are gonna buy
00:13:25 00:13:27 during this time so you know the 4.2
00:13:27 00:13:30 that you get
00:13:27 00:13:31 is strictly pretty much that what saved
00:13:30 00:13:33 you here was your actual
00:13:31 00:13:35 offer i like the simplicity of your
00:13:33 00:13:37 pages you kept it very simple but you
00:13:35 00:13:38 missed on a lot of key pieces right like
00:13:37 00:13:41 actual lifestyle photos
00:13:38 00:13:42 guarantees you know testimonials reviews
00:13:41 00:13:44 things like that to get people
00:13:42 00:13:46 comfortable buying uh you're not really
00:13:44 00:13:47 using any sort of sales funnel in here
