00:02:06 00:02:09 these ones on the screen right now you
00:02:07 00:02:11 can see that they look branded right you
00:02:09 00:02:13 can see that they look professional some
00:02:11 00:02:13 of the things that go into this is a
00:02:13 00:02:15 really
00:02:13 00:02:18 logo maybe they have a really nice color
00:02:15 00:02:19 scheme sometimes I see people's Shopify
00:02:18 00:02:21 stores and they have really ugly colors
00:02:19 00:02:23 like bright yellows or bright oranges
00:02:21 00:02:24 that clash with some other colors you
00:02:23 00:02:26 need to make sure that whatever colors
00:02:24 00:02:28 you're choosing actually look good you
00:02:26 00:02:30 need to really portray your brand and
00:02:28 00:02:32 one awesome way you can do that with is
00:02:30 00:02:33 something that I actually posted in my
00:02:32 00:02:35 print-on-demand Facebook group the other
00:02:33 00:02:38 day I have it on the screen right now
00:02:35 00:02:40 and basically what this is is a branded
00:02:38 00:02:41 trust badge this is from a Shopify store
00:02:40 00:02:43 I'll I'll show you guys all that as we
00:02:41 00:02:45 tok through it but this is a branded
00:02:43 00:02:46 trust badge right this does not look
00:02:45 00:02:48 like your typical trust badge that you
00:02:46 00:02:50 would see on a top of I store right most
00:02:48 00:02:52 times people just use the same exact one
00:02:50 00:02:54 they go on Google they type in trust
00:02:52 00:02:55 badge and they use this badge that
00:02:54 00:02:57 everybody is using right like it has
00:02:55 00:02:59 bright green text that says guaranteed
00:02:57 00:03:01 safe checkout or something like that
00:02:59 00:03:03 you need to make sure that even the
00:03:01 00:03:04 details around your trust badge is
00:03:03 00:03:07 branded you need to make sure that you
00:03:04 00:03:09 are portraying a professional store that
00:03:07 00:03:11 people want to buy from and Trust right
00:03:09 00:03:13 like I said the ultimate goal is to get
00:03:11 00:03:14 people to stop what they're doing go get
00:03:13 00:03:16 their wallet make a purchase from you
00:03:14 00:03:18 the second tip that you need to make
00:03:16 00:03:19 sure that you do on your store in order
00:03:18 00:03:21 to make sales is a little bit more
00:03:19 00:03:23 difficult than branding and this one is
00:03:21 00:03:26 all about urgency if you are not
00:03:23 00:03:27 creating urgency on your store people
00:03:26 00:03:29 won't feel compelled to actually stop
00:03:27 00:03:31 what they're doing so sometimes people
00:03:29 00:03:34 really mess this up right like they put
00:03:31 00:03:36 really spammy countdown timers on their
00:03:34 00:03:37 store they put things that make up
00:03:36 00:03:39 numbers about how many people are
00:03:37 00:03:41 viewing the product or how many people
00:03:39 00:03:42 are adding it to their cart those things
00:03:41 00:03:44 don't work but what you need to do is
00:03:42 00:03:46 think of clever ways in order to create
00:03:44 00:03:48 urgency on your store take a look at
00:03:46 00:03:50 some of these stores right as you can
00:03:48 00:03:52 see they've incorporated graphics onto
00:03:50 00:03:55 their site that basically create urgency
00:03:52 00:03:57 without adding a countdown timer or any
00:03:55 00:03:58 fake numbers about who's viewing the
00:03:57 00:04:00 product or how many people have it in
00:03:58 00:04:02 their cart these things really work
00:04:00 00:04:05 right how many times have you gone to a
00:04:02 00:04:08 store right any online shop and seen
00:04:05 00:04:11 spring sale and soon or Thanksgiving
00:04:08 00:04:13 sale and soon or pre Black Friday sale
00:04:11 00:04:14 right those things create urgency and if
00:04:13 00:04:16 you're not implementing something like
00:04:14 00:04:18 that onto your store you might be
00:04:16 00:04:19 letting buyers go because they're not
00:04:18 00:04:21 feeling compelled to actually stop what
00:04:19 00:04:23 they're doing and make a purchase from
00:04:21 00:04:25 you the third tip for you today is
00:04:23 00:04:27 social proof right social proof
00:04:25 00:04:29 basically means that you're showing
00:04:27 00:04:31 that other people are actually buying
00:04:29 00:04:34 from you this is going to be very hard
00:04:31 00:04:36 to do if you do not have sales so what I
00:04:34 00:04:38 advise if you don't have any sales right
00:04:36 00:04:40 but maybe you have a Facebook page and
00:04:38 00:04:42 on that Facebook page you have a ton of
00:04:40 00:04:45 people who like the page one thing you
00:04:42 00:04:47 can do is you could put screenshots of
00:04:45 00:04:49 how many people like your page on your
00:04:47 00:04:49 store right like think of a creative way
00:04:49 00:04:51 to do it
00:04:49 00:04:53 but if you're able to say hey followed
00:04:51 00:04:55 by over 1,000 people on Facebook or
00:04:53 00:04:57 followed by over 1,000 people on
00:04:55 00:04:59 Instagram those are going to help you a
00:04:57 00:05:02 little bit more to create some social
00:04:59 00:05:04 proof on your store especially if you do
00:05:02 00:05:06 not have sales currently if you do have
00:05:04 00:05:07 sales right you really want to engage
00:05:06 00:05:09 with those people you want to have some
00:05:07 00:05:11 sort of an app on your store that will
00:05:09 00:05:14 encourage them to leave a review
00:05:11 00:05:15 preferably a photo review because that's
00:05:14 00:05:17 going to really help you take a look at
00:05:15 00:05:20 some of these stores right they have a
00:05:17 00:05:22 ton of real photos of real people with
00:05:20 00:05:24 their products this is showing future
00:05:22 00:05:26 customers hey people are coming to my
00:05:24 00:05:27 store they're actually making purchases
00:05:26 00:05:30 and they love the product you need to
00:05:27 00:05:31 buy one - that is exactly what social
00:05:30 00:05:33 proof does you need to make sure that
00:05:31 00:05:35 you have something on your store that's
00:05:33 00:05:36 showing that other people are
00:05:35 00:05:38 interacting with your store that they're
00:05:36 00:05:40 potentially buying from you and like I
00:05:38 00:05:41 said if you don't have any sales put
00:05:40 00:05:43 something on there about how many
00:05:41 00:05:44 followers you have or link to your
00:05:43 00:05:46 social media pages or something like
00:05:44 00:05:48 that you need to convince people that
00:05:46 00:05:50 you're a real brand best way to do that
00:05:48 00:05:51 is to add social proof to your product
00:05:50 00:05:54 page so I really did hope that you
