tout le monde. j'espère que vous allez bien. j'espère que vous passez une excellente journée ou soirée. salut, Franco, vous regardez cette vidéo. aujourd'hui, on va parler d'un sujet que j'ai l'impression que tout ce francophone font exprès de pas vous dire toute la vérité dedans. je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais peu importe. aujourd'hui le sujet, c'est: qu'est-ce que c'est Shopify ment, à quoi ça sert, pour que c'est utile et pour qui ce n'est pas. et surtout, en fait, je vais vous dévoiler tous les secrets de. je préfère que la plupart des gens ne vous disent pas sur internet. je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais peu importe. moi j'ai ma petite idée pourquoi ils le font pas. mais bon, c'est pas grave. rentre dans le but du sujet. vous commencez à me connaître et là, on va soulever le tapis fort et on va vous montrer ce qu'il y a dessous, sachant pas forcément très bon, des fois, il y a des bonnes choses, ok, mais mélangez avec un peu un peu de sous à nettoyer, littéralement, voilà. voilà donc Shopify, tout simplement, c'est une passerelle de paiement réalisé par Shopify en collaboration avec stripe pour, tout simplement, que tu puisses encaisser de l'argent de n'importe quelle boutique Shopify en trois jours. j'aime du roi, ou c'est incroyable, vu on est en 3 jours, il faut absolument que je m'occupe le temps, que je te montre ce qu'il y a sous le tapis. ça va trop produire, je pense, et même tout va être bouché du nez. alors, parlons avantage des shopitalie, tout simplement. donc, le premier avantage, c'est quoi? c'est que, forcément, tu as des frais de transaction beaucoup moins avancées que tout avait un Shopify séparé avec. il faut savoir que, justement, quand tu avais un Shopify, tu avais 2% à 2,9 pour stripe et 2% pour le Shopify, en tout cas, suite à l'abonnement de base, et tu avais moins fut, tu avais tout simplement un abonnement supérieur. donc, ça dure qu'en moyenne, tu avais à peu près 5% de frais de transaction. aussi, si, par exemple, tu avais mis Paypal avec 4 % de frais de transaction, 4 à 5, c'est énorme. donc, ça veut dire, au final, tout perdu entre 6% et 3, 4% pour chaque transaction. donc, c'est quand même énorme. ça peut faire des sous énormes quand tu fais de gros volumes. j'ai pas un négligé, quoi. la deuxième avantage, justement de la deuxième, le deuxième avantage d'avoir chopément, c'est tout simplement qu'en fait, bah, tu peux gérer plusieurs pays, donc marché, plusieurs devises et avoir une seule passerelle de paiement, et ça, c'est ouf. donc, c'est à dire que, par exemple, tu as un marché qui est en France, en Espagne, tu as aussi un marché aux États-Unis, un marché aussi au Danemark, peu importe, tu peux sélectionner la devise de chaque pays, d'accord, et ça, tu peux le faire cuire avec le plus vipment, ou éventuellement Molly- je n'ai pas encore testé, au courant, mais du coup, voilà, tu peux littéralement faire pour chaque devise et par la chute. il y a un autre avantage que je te dirai tout de suite. troisième avantage que je te dis tout de suite, justement, c'est que, tout simplement, tu peux encaisser, on divise le câble. alors, ça, tu vas me dire, mais pourquoi? c'est? c'est pas incroyable. qu'est-ce que ça change? bah, en fait, c'est simple. ce que, par exemple, avec strike, il se pouvait que si, par exemple, tu étais en Suisse et que tu encaisses de clients en France, il avait des frais d'Inter bancaire, d'échanges interbancaires, de ça. alors, à partir de cette auto, c'est illégal. je mettrai un lien dans la description de condamnation des banques françaises qui ont eu, qui ont lieu, parce qu'ils ont abusé de ça, tu vois, et puis voilà, ils veulent pas dire: alors clients, tout simplement, et donc, à chaque fois, c'est au propriétaire de la boutique ou à e-commerchon de rembourser ses frais là. or, en fait, nous ne sommes pas même pas changer d'y être. c'est juste que certains clients ont juste une relation bancaire avec leur banquier, qui est pas terrible, ou du moins qui est classique, et qui leur dit pas qu'en fait, en fait, ils ont une offre de, tout simplement, c'est tout. donc, voilà, désolé, j'ai un peu de recul, mais bon, hein, au bout d'un moment, c'est de la bille, quoi, je ferai l'Inter bancaire. j'aurais abusé quoi. mais bon, petite aparté dans la vidéo pour t'expliquer ce que c'est les frais d'interchange, parce que oui, j'ai oublié de te l'expliquer, je suis désolé. bon, on va bien rattraper le secours. il y a près d'interchange. c'est quoi? je t'explique tout simplement: une banque française, d'accord, tu as envie d'acheter dans une boutique, par exemple en Suisse? allez, allez, on retourne dans la vidéo, bref, peu importe. bref, en tout cas, si tu as des pays, par exemple comme la Suisse, ou tu as par exemple américain et quelque chose en Europe, il peut te téléphoner d'interchange à ta bancaire et chez relou. voici donc les avantages de Shopify. [Musique], je sais pas pourquoi. donc, quatrième avantage, justement, de shopfight, c'est tout simplement qu'en fait, il y a des moyens de paiement directement intégrés dedans, sans faire du code ajoute, à cliquer dans, et c'est bon. c'est le cas notamment avec clarna, et notamment le bon contact. le bon contact, Clarins, normalement tu dois mettre du code, tu dois demander des admissions d'attacher de tête de trucs de sécurité, machin, et tout, bah, comme tu es déjà intégrément déjà passé le step de sécurité déjà le plus stricte, tout est bon, tout est en verre, pourquoi? et puis tu peux directement installer dans ta boutique sans aucun problème. ah bon, on est chez. en espérant que j'ai pas envie d'autre détails, continuez la vidéo. on parle directement aux inconvénient et là où ça pue, ça aime le premier inconvénient de Shopify. et ça, ça parle que des gens qui ont eu l'expérience avec, donc, Shopify, tu peux que le relier avec ta banque de ton entreprise locale. c'est-à-dire, je donne un exemple: soit tu as une entreprise en Angleterre, par exemple, tu peux que la relier avec une banque anglaise. il est un petit a une banque, peu importe. tu as une entreprise qui est basée en France, ou du moins dans l'adresse de domiciliation, est en France, bateau obligé de travailler avec une banque française et d'encaisser sur cette banque française. et ça, je suis relou, évidemment, parce que, évidemment, vous connaissez ces banques. elles sont très frileux, elles sont pas forcément à jour, ou de la tiknologie au niveau de comment ça fonctionne du commerce, et puis peuvent vous bloquer à tout moment pour les transactions qui sont plutôt courantes. donc voilà, ça, c'est un gros inconvénient. donc, ça veut dire que vous pourrez pas travailler avec des revenus business ou des natif business à condition d'avoir une entreprise anglaise ou une entreprise allemande. le troisième inconvénient, que la plupart des gens ne vous disent pas, parce que forcément ça leur fait perdre des commissions, ou je la bouche là en fait- c'est tout simplement que c'est une dépendance à créer à Shopify. c'est logique, c'est-à-dire que si, par exemple, tu as déjà des problèmes, que t'as pas une bonne relation avec Shopify, moi, ça va heureusement chaque page très bien et j'ai jamais eu de soucis. mais il y en a qui ont de balles perdues parce que, en fait, j'aurais abusé. on fait n'importe quoi, mais bon, c'est pas grave, on peut parler en vrai. en fait, tout simplement, je suis une dépendance à Shopify et tu as une merde. bah, tu perds tout, tu vois tout perdre, plus la page de paiement donc impossible d'accès à te, à te sous- entre guillemets- que tu as encaissé dessus. donc, vraiment, c'est une dépendance énorme et donc là, voilà, j'ai un peu où ça passe, ou chacun. donc, le troisième inconvénient, c'est quoi? c'est que, tout simplement, ils utilisent la même balle de données et tiknologie que je travaille. donc, forcément, tu as une mauvaise relation avec stripe. ne te doute pas que tu vas jamais pouvoir patcher sur Shopify, évident. donc voilà, c'est juste ça ce qu'il faudra faire: super attention, avoir de bonnes relations et toujours être carré. tout ce qui est normal, tu vois, après, certains ne sont pas, enfin, c'est leur problème, mais voilà, il faut juste faire attention à ça également. quatrième inconvénient: manque de personnalisation. je vais pas rentrer dans les détails, mais en vrai côté tout.

How To Setup SHOPIFY Payments (Simple Method)

hey guys, Dean, here in today's Shopify video, I'm going to be running you through how to set up Shopify payments on your Shopify Drop Shipping Store. this allows you to accept any kind of payments which people are going to send you, typically when you sell any product on your dropshipping store, and this is a really important thing, because when people pay you, you want to go straight to your bank account, right, and we're going to set up all the different payment methods, or at least show you how that process actually works, to make sure you can accept payments as soon as you get sales on Shopify. now, typically, this is going to be based on how you want your store to be set up, right, so there's options to get paid directly to PayPal, which is obviously going to benefit a lot of people who just want quick payments and Easy System. PayPal has some pretty good security, but they mainly do favor the buyer of the seller in a lot of situations, and obviously you can receive direct card payments using stripe, which is shopify's partner too. so let's take a look at the Shopify dashboard and go on the shop, provide payments, and I'll explain everything from that. so here we are in the Shopify dashboard on one of my stores and basically, I'm going to show you how to set up the Shopify AI payments. so the first thing, what we need to do, guys, is just click on settings in the bottom left and it'll take you to your dashboard for your store here. okay, I have my store over here. I've just blurred out some of the crucial information, but we're going to click on the payment section on the left over here, and from here let's just take a look at all the payment options which Shopify give us as an option. so this is how we're going to accept payments from all of our customers and how we're going to process those payments and transactions and how we're going to acquire money at the end of the day. so, basically, this payment capture over here. so, if we manage this, this is the customer's payment method and how it's authorized and charged, and, by default, that's going to be on automatik. so there's the choice between automatik and manual capture. automatik captures payments for all the orders automatikally and the method is authorized and charged automatikally too, whereas if we select manually, you'll capture the payment method and it's authorized at the time of the order and you'll need to manually capture the payment within the authorization period. so this just adds another extra step in the process, which you just really don't need to do unless you just want to manually specifically look at every single order. you don't need to select manual because it's just going to add another step in the process and you want to be saving time here. so I wouldn't change that. I'd leave it on default and, as you can see down here, I have PayPal already active. that's what I activated it first and these are the additional payment methods. so the main payment system, Shopify payments- I will show you that in a few moments- but the additional payment methods- if you just want to sell PayPal, you can kind of just set that up instead. basically, PayPal is the main provider I'm using. the reason why I think PayPal is personally pretty good is because they have a zero percent transaction fee, and this basically means that when people make a purchase using PayPal on your store, you won't have to pay a cut of that towards PayPal for that sale. so that's really useful, or at least the customers also won't need to have a transaction fee. also, too, we can also click on ADD payment methods to add more, and you click manage on PayPal and over here I've connected my PayPal account. so typically, if you were to create a brand new store on Shopify, it'd have an option to activate the PayPal feature and then also link your PayPal account directly to your store, and that's how you would actually set it up. you'd be basically then log into your PayPal, get a code through your phone and then authorize it through Shopify to allow the permission for Shopify to use your account, and then you link it. it's a pretty easy process to set up the PayPal Express checkout. it allows you to receive payments in foreign countries with PayPal. so usually with a store you'd have to set up so many different Nationals and locales and set up each country and the taxes that people pay for those different countries and zones. but if you set up Paypal, it just does all for you. it's a very simple thing to do. if you don't have a PayPal account and you want to do some kind of e-commerce online, I really recommend setting up. okay now, I originally had a Paypal because I used to use it for eBay and for online work, but if you haven't got a PayPal, I think you're really sleeping on it because it's the easiest way to sell up. the only downside is, like I said before, PayPal do typically favor the buyers rather than the sellers. I've never really seen very good protection for sellers on PayPal. when we get to the stage where you may have refunds and chargebacks when using PayPal, it's probably the worst, but it is the safest and easiest payment process to use and I can't even moves along the heavy lifting and it's just really simple to set up. guys, you also have Amazon pay as well, so there's not many websites which typically you really seem to use Amazon pay, but you would click activate Amazon pay and you have to register as a merchant on Amazon for this right. so I would select United Kingdom and if you want to set up Amazon pay, you have to create an Amazon payments merchant account and basically the certain requirements needed to set up this account. so your online store must live and be accessible with products available for purchase. obviously, this is going to be your Shopify store, so you need to have products already activated in the store when you set this up and they must follow Amazon's acceptable use policy. so you need to obviously agree to their terms of service on their platform and you need to specifically specify the URLs you're going to use for their payment processor, which would be your Shopify URL and certain countries. there's certain revenue and turnover requirements, some items that you'll need when setting up. they'll need your image of your passport so they can do some kind of facial recognition and identity information regarding you, too, and details about your business- any vat numbers or business codes you need to provide- and that's how they do identity verification. just like on cryptokurrency platforms, when you want to sell crypto or any government gateways and websites, you need to provide your passport, some kind of ID and facial recognition, such as a picture of yourself, to actually verify it's you. it's kind of similar when you set up an Amazon Seller Central account to sell on Amazon or do Amazon FBA. you'll basically have to do a webcam live chat with one of Amazon's support reps and they'll verify it's you. that's what I had to do. I had to do like 30 minute or 20 minute call with an Amazon rep. I don't think you have to do that with this, but it's a similar thing where they need to verify your identity right and you need to register with Amazon pay and after registration, you check Seller Central and this is the One-Stop shop for updates. so, just like selling on Amazon, you use Seller Central just like an Amazon vendor would when you sell products on Amazon. so that's how to set up Amazon. if you want to use Amazon pay, that's another method. I'd recommend PayPal. it's much easier and you don't have to use a third-party platform as much, because you're gonna have to refer to the Amazon platform a lot more than you would have to log into PayPal. now, manual payment methods are payments made outside your online store. so if a customer wants to do a manual payment method, like cash on delivery, you'll need to approve this. I wouldn't recommend doing cash on delivery. cash on delivery is, for an example, if I was to do cash and delivery on an ebay account, that would mean where if I sell a product, such as a piece of furniture.

hey there guys. my name is marcus and in this video i'm going to compare stripe with shopify. the first thing i'm going to compare, or like share with you is what is my actual recommendation for you to use. then i'm going to compare the fee structure of stripe and also shopify and then i will tok about additional features they offer. so let's start now. personally, i would, if you can use your shopify payments, use shopify payments. it's going to be much more effective than choosing a different payment processor. but what i would do if i would be you that, okay, i would let you use shopify payments but then have a stripe or paypal or something in a backup. why? because what can happen? let's say that, uh, you have a summer collection and you gonna sell a new product in summer and you are earning right now, 2k a month. what can happen that? let's say that you're going to jump to 30- 40k a month, but, right, then shopify is going to stop, like it's going. they are going to review your store. if you're not a scam or something right, they're going to stop. uh, they're not going to allow you to sell products. it can happen, but then you need to figure it out fast: another payment processor and what will happen? that you are going to wait to get verified on i don't know- stripe for a while, like one week, and you are going to lose a lot of revenue. so this is why i always recommend, if you're going to choose a one payment processor, have some that you're not going to use straight away in a backup that you can use anytime. this is what i would definitely recommend for you to do and have it as a backup and from year two, three years from now, when you're going to be big, you will remember what i said to you and you will be so thankful because just this one minute is going to save you so much money. now let's go further, to just payment and fee structure. so in shopify you have to pay for the basic account, like okay, but let's say you can't use shopify payments. but it's really important that if you're going to choose different payment processor than shopify payments, you have to pay in a basic shopify two percent, in the normal shopify one percent and advanced shopify 0.5, based on a plan that you're gonna choose. and then why is it important? only because let's say that you would choose stripe in stripe, you're gonna see that okay. integra, 0.4 percent, 0.25 cents or 2.9 percent, right. and to those let's say that i'm going to order from the india, let's say i'm going to pay 2., 2.9 percent to strive and also i'm going to pay another 2, 1 or 0.5 to shopify. so that's like free. this is like what: five percent on a basic shopify and two percent goes to shopify and zero point. uh, three percent goes to stripe. so this is really important. and when you like, compare the online credit card rates. the shopify payments is 2.9, 2.6 and 2.4. here it's zero point four percent for european card. so if you can have like a lot of orders from europe and you know that you are targeted in germany or uk or i don't know, uk is not already in europe, so it's a brexit. so let's say sweden, whatever, i would definitely go with a stripe. you're going to save actually money. so let's say that even here it's 2.6 percent. but let's say you're gonna see additional fees here for zero percent. i would choose advanced, like the shopify account for 79. and then i'm going to pay one percent to shopify. then i'm going to get from european cards one point four percent. i'm like two point two point four, four percent. the cents are really similar. so still, it's better comparing to shopify payments. so you always need to do those, this kind of shenanigans and calculations like which one is actually better. now to go further, the one huge advantage- i personally see there are more of them to stripe comparing to shopify payments- are these: so you got 135 currencies in stripe. you got it available in more countries. comparing to shopify payments, that's another thing. uh, two business days is really similar. uh, the payment then you're gonna have like integration. there are plenty of them both. both customer support is good, but one really thing i like about- let me show you about stripe- is 3d secure, pretty secure. that c3 is a method used to verify customer identity before an online car purchase. this is really important. so if you're gonna get a lot of orders, uh from scam people etc. using stripe is really effective and really good. so that's what i would definitely recommend for you to do and buy this. you're going to save also money. now, adaptive acceptance, so they are going to help you: 0.08 local payment methods, sepa, direct, and that's pretty much it. so i don't know what else should i share with you. so, if you can use the shopify moments, use shopify payments, but have stripe in the backup. if you are in a risky business, that can happen, that they are going to stop. they are not going to allow you to sell the product through shopify payments in that way. i would just go definitely stripe. so thank you very much, guys, for watching. if you have any questions, ask me down in comments and have a great day and goodbye, see ya.

Understanding Shopify Payment Gateways | PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout

hey, what's up, guys? it's online money 24/7, and today we're gonna be toking about understanding Shopify payment gateways. so these are the payment gateways that allow you to charge your customer for the products that they're going to be purchasing from your website. so, without further ado, let's go ahead and get into it. so, first off, understanding the exact process that is going on. so there's this nice little chart that I found, and so when you, a customer, comes to your website, you are the merchant, and so a customer comes in, they find a product, you are the merchant, and then it directs them to a payment gateway, which is a website that allows them to punch in all their information, and then that payment gateway then sends the information to the credit card processor, and then there's the credit card Association, such as, like Visa or MasterCard- it just takes a couple of examples- and then you also have, then the credit card is issued to the bank. so that is how the whole entire transaction occurs. and today we're going to be toking about more specifically the payment gateways, because, with Shopify, there's a whole bunch of different ones and it depends on your country. there's a lot of information surrounding that, so we're gonna be breaking it down today in this video, so hopefully you guys can understand more about payment gateways and how to make them work for your stores. so let's get into Shopify payments. this is the default payment processor from Shopify that they recommend you to use, and personally I would recommend you to use as well, because it is the cheapest. there is no actual transaction fee for using this payment processor. it's the one that is default with Shopify. it's powered by stripe, so it works really, really well. however, this becomes an issue for some people because it is only available in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. so if you're not in that country, you can't use Shopify payments when creating your Shopify store to accept the credit card payments from your customers. so that's a big issue for a lot of people. hand getting more into Shopify payments if you are in the country, if you are within those countries that I just listed, we'll get into more what you can do if you're not in one of those countries listed. well, we'll get into that later in the video. but with this one, with Shopify payments, in order to get an actual lower credit card rate, depends on your shopify monthly plans. as you can see on the left it says 2.9 percent plus 30 cents. that is the default credit card rate for Shopify payments that they give you. now that is lowering. you can get it like a lower rate if you pay for a higher Shopify monthly plan. the default $29 to month- gives you that standard credit card rate. if you increase into the next plan, I believe it's 2.7 percent plus $30- 30 cents plus 30 cents, not $30. if you increase from the $29 month plan, which is the basic Shopify plan, if you increase, I think it's $79 month for like the pro plan, then it becomes 2.7 percent plus 30 cents. so and then the the one after that, I think, is just as flat- 2.6 percent and no 30 cent at Edition to it. so there's a lot of different credit card rates that are associated with just Shopify payments, depending on the monthly plan that you pay for. so if you want to lower your rate, you just go in and click the get a lower rate and then it brings up the page with what monthly plan do you want to pay for? honestly, I've only ever used the basic plan because for the monthly fees and the percentage, the 0.2% difference is really not a big thing for me, unless you're doing like massive volumes of sales, then getting a lower credit card rate might be more valuable for you. now the transaction fee: like I said before, Shopify payments does not have a transaction fee, so that is good for Shopify payments. but what if you are one of those people in another country outside of the United States, or you just personally don't want to use Shopify payments? maybe you have some issues with them and using it on your store. maybe just you don't like it, right? you want to switch to some other payment processor? okay, there's a lot of other payment processors available, such as to check out, stripe, and there's a whole laundry list of other ones as well. Shopify has a list of over 70 different payment gateways on their website that you can go through and select which one you want to use. to go through and do some research on each of them and then find one that works for your country, because some of the ones they have they only work in, like Australia, New Zealand. there's some that only work in the United States. there's. there's a whole bunch of different payment processors. find one that you like. you like the bed if it's that they offer you. they have low fees and they work in your country, because you know, certain payment processors only work in certain countries, just like Shopify payments. obviously, if you're one of the countries that's available for Shopify payments, just use Shopify payments, but maybe you want to use a different one if you're in another country. that could also be an issue for you. so these are- these are the couple of different ones, like to check out and stripe. there's a huge list of other ones as well that Shopify has available for people, because they understand, not everyone's in those state, in those countries that I just mentioned before for Shopify payments. so there there should be one that can work for you, for your country. now, each one also has a variety of different rules, so some may charge a higher transaction fee than others. some may also have a rule where you have to be selling online for at least 90 days or something like that. like there's a lot of minimal minimum balance, like type rules, type of stuff like that- that you may need to have done something on your website first to be able to use the payment processor. so just double check on each of the payment processors and just find one that will work for you, because it's a huge list of them and, you know, not all of them work for everybody. but that is really important to find something to at least be able to accept credit cards, because you don't want to be running around without a credit card payment process, because then you can't get paid for selling products. it's kind of a problem. so obviously thought you just use a different payment process. so that's the whole point. so now another thing is: what about PayPal? so PayPal allows you to use- you know you can accept payments, works worldwide. what is so? you know what's the different? why don't I just use PayPal altogether and just don't even use a payment processor for credit cards? the thing is with that is like: obviously PayPal is different from card processors and it limits you if you only accept paypal payments. so if someone comes on your website, tries to buy a product, they don't have a PayPal account and that's all that you accept. you're not going to get that check out, you're gonna have an abandoned check out and then you're not gonna make a sale because you didn't have a credit card processor available on your checkout page. so you want to make sure that you have a credit card processor, because it's different from just PayPal. if someone doesn't have PayPal, then you can't get paid, so that's a big issue. so definitely make sure, if you- if you can, you know, have both, that would be awesome- have a PayPal and credit card. that's going to be your best bet, because then you're gonna be able to accept the most amount of payments for selling products in your store. so that's what I would definitely recommend for you is to have both. do research on the different payment process. there's a find one that works in your country, that works for you, that you like, and roll along with that, because you're gonna want to be able to accept as many kind of payments as possible and find something that just works really well for you. so, guys, if you have not actually started your Shopify stores yet, I do have a 14-day fre.

make sure that you have an account on shopify. so if you don't have an account, you may go to shopifycom and place your working email right here. make sure that your email is working, since shopify will be sending you a confirmation email or a verification email that will verify that your account is existing. once you're done inputting your email address, click on start free trial right here and then click on password and type in your password. i'll just type in right here and make sure to follow the required password right here. click on create your store once you're done and then wait for it to load. so shopify takes a lot of time to load, so you should be patient with all of these steps. so, as you can see, shopify is loading right now. so once it is done loading, make sure to add the important information that shopify needs in your store so you may click on um. are you already selling? you may choose an option, or what is your current revenue? choose an option. which industry will you be operating? choose an option as well. right here you may click on skip if you think that you still don't have the answer to all of this, and then it will redirect you now to this page right here. so it will ask about your address, so your country or your region, your first name, your last name, address, your apartment, suite and etc. your postal code, city, region, phone and optional business or personal website right here. so make sure to add all of these ones, since it is required, except of this optional business or personal website. you may also check on: this store is a registered business, if you have already registered it to your respective office swap, and then click on enter my store. and once you click on enter my store, this page or the home page will appear, and then you may add a product right here by clicking on add product. or let's say, for example, that the product that you want is on um, aliexpress. so you may go to apps right here on the left pane and then click on overloop. so once you click overloo, it will redirect you to this page, which says that the overloo is a drop shipping app. so click on add app and then wait for it to load again. shopify is taking time to load, so you should be patient with it. once you click on add app, this will be shown on the screen. so the first one is create or connect your shopify store. step two is: i had your first product. the step three is go live and the step 4 is make a sale, so you may track your steps right here. as you can see, there is a green one which indicate that you have already achieved the number of steps out of the four steps right here. so, since we have already created and connected our shopify store, it has now been added right here. so what we're going to do now is to proceed with step two: add your first product. so go to products, right here on the left pane, and click on find products, and right here you may choose the category that you want. so you may choose men's clothing and accessories, women's clothing and accessories, toys and hobbies, beauty and health, watches and etc. you may also choose on more categories. if you cannot see any category that you've won, let's say, for example, i'll click on beauty and health, and right here you just simply choose the product that you want. so click on the. for example, i want to choose this one. simply click on add to import list and then choose as many product as you want. as you can see, i have added or imported a product already, so you may now then click on import list right here and then make sure to tik the box right here. or let's say, for example, you have a lot of products. you may click on the box right here as well, so everything will be selected. once you have selected your products, click on import to store right here, then make sure to turn it to draft first and click on import ass draft, then wait for it to load. once it is done loading, a tik mark or a check mark will be seen right here, and then now you may proceed back to your shopify store and go to your products and, as you can see, now you have your product right here, so you may click on it and then you may be able to see your product. jimmy also edit the name of that product, the description and etc. so again, let's just wait for it to load and then- let's say, for example, that you have already edited your product name or your description. you may click on the bottom right of the screen and then now let's proceed to what you're looking for, which is the setting up of the payment. so let me go to settings, right here on the left pane, and then you may see store details, plan billing, users and permissions, payments, checkout and many more. so let's focus on payments right here. so click on payments and you may choose payment providers, supported payment methods or manual payment methods. so, on manual payment methods, you may add manual payment method, such as create a custom payment method, your bank deposit, money order or cash on delivery or cod. once you are looking for your desired payment method, you just simply try all of this so that you may um experience everything. so let's say, for example, i want to choose a provider. i'll just simply click on that one and then wait for it to load. so, right here i may look for the provider that you want. you may choose to check out by d local credit card or debit card, via paymongo and etc. so you may see here as well what cards are supported by these payment method or your payment providers. so let's say, for example, i want to choose this to check out, and then, as you can see, there is a description. there are also instructions, which include create a to checkout account and log in and activate your to check account, access the integrations under the api section, and you should read all of this so that you will have a successful payment gateway. so the merchant code and the secret code can be seen once you created an account on to check out or other payment options. so let's say, for example, let's click on create a to check account and then make sure to sign up for free. since i have already signed shopify payment setup. hi guys, welcome back to another video, and in this video, i'm going to be telling you how you can set up payments within shopify. so, having said that, let's just jump into the video. so i'm over here on shopify right now and what you'll do is just simply log in right now, if you already have an account, you can just simply log in. if you don't, you can just sign up by entering in your email address over here and starting your free trial. uh, there is a pricing plan, however, so let me just show you, if you were interested in that one. so, over here, as you can see, these are the plans. we have: the basic, the shopify and the advance. you can see their payments over here, how much they cost. the basic one is going to be 29 per month, the shopify is going to be 79 and the advanced one is going to be 299, and you can see all of the rates and features that they have over here, and if you scroll down, you can see more stuff as well. over here, you can see more features as well within each plan in a more comprehensive and detailed manner, so that you can know which plan you want to try out. but yeah, then you're good to go. so first, i'm just simply going to go ahead and log into my store and i'll show you how you can set up payments. so we'll just simply log in into my store over here now. once you have logged in, you've arrived over to your dashboard, or your admin. what you're going to do is you scroll down. what you're going to do is just navigate yourself over here at the bottom left corner, click on settings and open up settings, and over here you will see you have billings plans, payments, checkouts and all of that. just simply click on payments and over here you will have three options. you will have payment providers, supported payment methods and manual payment methods as well. so, over here, choose whichever payment method you want and then, for example, if you wanted to have like payment providers, you just simply click on choose a provider and choose a provider from this list that you can see over here. if you want to add a payment method yourself, you can add that. over here. you can search for a payment method. over here, as you can see, we have visa, mastercard, diners and all of that. let's say you want a visa, mastercard, right, and then you will have skrill, ocean payments, ping pong checkouts to check out, convert plus i pay, hit pay, credit card, debit card- all of that. you can choose that, or you can add like a manual payment system, like a bank deposit, money order or cash on delivery. it all depends on you. so for me, i think that going into payment providers and choosing one of these is much better. like you will see, you will have if a payment method is not available in your country, it will just say unavailable within your country and it will show you the ones that are available at the top. so currently, to check out is available within my country, so i'm going to be choosing that one. it does support a very large number of cards, such as visa, mastercards, american express, discovery, jcb and diners club as well. yeah, so we're going to click onto checkouts account. we have a server error, but it still works. now. over here, you can choose which type of card you support, so i'll just support all of them and then, over here, they basically give you like a set up instruction on how to get it working. so they have like a 10 step account which is very simple to you know. get started. so, first things first, we have to create a to checkout account, so let's go ahead and click over here. actually, i need to open it up in under the tab so that it's much more convenient, so i'll just open it up in another tab over here. so over here, it's very simple. you can sign up for free by just simply clicking on this button over here and adding in your details, such as your first name, your last name, your business email, password, website and your country, and it's very easy. so over here, i'll just say i'll just enter in john doe and then, over here, we'll add in our business email, which is my temporary email. so i'll just go ahead and do that. i'll copy the email, come back over here and paste it, and then i'll enter in the password. and for the website, we'll just, you know, copy this one, copy the link address and come over here and paste it. i'll get rid of that. yeah, that looks good. then we have our country, we check the robot and then we click on. get started. there you go, it's done. now what we need to do is: what type of products do you want to sell with? [Music]. hello, today we are going to discuss about a new payment gateway which is recently launched in uae. it's called stripe and in our last video we have discussed about the payment gateways which is supported in uae. so stripe is having a lot of advantages when we compare with other payment gateways in payment gateways- what we have discussed in the last video. so, uh, actually, stripe is one of the payment gateway which is used by shopify for their shopify payments. so uh, like, i think shopify is going to have the shopify payment also soon in the middle east. when we compare stripe payment with other payment gateways in uae, stripe is having a lot of advantages. number one: it's supported by a lot of cards around the world. so, uh, for example, if you uh compare it with uh the gate, with the existing payment gateway- other payment gateways- they don't support the international cards. so, for example, like, someone need to buy something uh from your website, from us or from canada, they cannot uh use their card because it's not supported by other payment gateways. so, uh, it's not uh that for the stripe, stripe is supported by a lot of uh payment gateways. i mean, oh sorry, stripe is supported by a lot of cards and uh, it's even supported by apple pay. so you can use all these cards for uh, you can use all these cards for purchasing through the stripe. so for getting the stripe is in the early stage in uae. so for getting the account, you have to go to stripecom and you have to sign up and once you sign up, you will receive the email from the site to upload all the documents- supported documents uh in their website and you will get the account, uh account. so, for example, if you are signing up today, you'll you have to wait for like maybe like for uh one or two weeks and they will get back to you with a link where you can log in and upload your documents. so for getting a stripe account, you need to upload the documents. the main documents are your company trade license, your company bank account, all the shareholders- about 20 dates, emirates id and uh the visa copy- sorry, the passport and the visa copy. so you have to upload all these documents. place the bank statement uh to stripe account for getting the account. so once you get the stripe account, so, uh, they will take like few days to verify your account and once you get the verification you can start using them in shopify. so the stripe is having a lot of advantages for shopify. so, unlike the other payment gateways, once you complete the order in the checkout shop in a shopify checkout- uh, you don't they. it won't take you to their website like the myfatura or to the paytap website to fill your card. it can be within the shopify website itself. that means like it will stay within the shopify website and uh, people can enter their car details and the processing can be done without the people won't be able to understand or know that you're using stripe payment gateway. so it's a uh, it's a good advantage. for some people. they'll think that if you are taken to the other third party website, they think uh like fishy. so, uh, i think it's good to. it's a main advantage what we can get from the strike payment gateway. as a launch offer, stripe is providing a discount till 2022. so, apart from the normal price of 2.90 percentage where one the ramps transaction, they are now offering one point nine zero percent uh percentage plus one direct per transaction. so that means like, if you are uh placing an order uh the customer, they will cut like 1.90 uh percentage of the total order plus one dirhams extra. even if it's like thousand dirhams, then, uh, they will cut like one point nine zero percentage plus one per transaction. okay, so, uh, it's a good offer, i think, and it's a good offer that, uh, like, no other company can offer. so, uh, strap is having a lot of advantages. uh like, now they are giving uh discount, they are having they are supported by a lot of cards and it's having native shopify uh checkout option. so, uh like, and soon uh so shopify will also launch the shopify payment. so, uh, it's a good moment uh to have the stripe payment gateway in uae so you can also use type payment for your other business, like if you are looking for, if you are having other type of ecommerce website and you need to use type in uh for the payment gateway, you can do that. or if you are planning to use that for invoicing, like if you are doing a service, if you are a service based company, you can create the invoice from the site panel and the user can make the payment online. thank you [Music] you.
