WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE of JPG & PNG? How to Search Transparent Logo on Google?
In today's digital age, images play an important role in various aspects of our lives. From social media to marketing campaigns, images are everywhere. Two of the most popular image file formats are JPEG and PNG. In this article, we will explore the differences between these two file formats and when to use each one.
What are JPEG and PNG?
JPEG, short for Joint Photographic Experts Group, is a commonly used image file format for photographs. It is a lossy compression format, which means that it compresses the image by discarding some information. This results in a smaller file size, but some quality is lost in the process.
PNG, short for Portable Network Graphics, is another popular image file format. It was developed as a replacement for the GIF format, which had copyright issues. PNG is a lossless compression format, which means that it compresses the image without discarding any information. This results in a larger file size, but the quality of the image is not compromised.
Differences between JPEG and PNG:
1. Compression: JPEG uses lossy compression, while PNG uses lossless compression.
2. Image quality: JPEGs can lose some quality in the compression process, while PNGs maintain the original quality.
3. Transparency: PNGs support transparency, while JPEGs do not.
4. Color depth: PNGs support a wider range of color depths, while JPEGs are limited to 8-bit color depth.
When to use JPEG:
- Photographs: JPEG is the preferred format for photographs because it can handle a large number of colors and shades.
- Small file size: If you need to upload or send an image with a small file size, JPEG is a good option because it compresses the image.
- Web images: JPEG is the most widely used format for web images because it can be easily compressed without compromising the quality too much.
When to use PNG:
- Graphics with transparency: If you need an image with transparency, PNG is the best option.
- Text-based graphics: PNG is a good option for graphics with text because it maintains the sharpness of the text.
- High-quality images: If you need an image with high quality and don't mind the larger file size, PNG is the best option.
In conclusion, JPEG and PNG are two popular image file formats with different strengths and weaknesses. While JPEG is great for photographs and small file sizes, PNG is preferred for graphics with transparency and high-quality images. Understanding the differences between these two formats can help you choose the right one for your needs.

As Google has ads everywhere on the internet, including YouTube, this is a significant development for billions of users worldwide. In this article, we will take a look at the statement made by Google's product manager for ads privacy and safety and what it means for advertisers on the Google ecosystem.
What Google's Statement Says:
- People engage with a wider variety of ad formats on more Google products than ever before, and they increasingly want to know more about the ads they see.
- Google has been innovating on features like about this ad to help users understand why an ad was shown and to mute ads or advertisers they aren't interested in.
- Google introduced an advertiser identity verification program last spring, requiring advertisers to verify information about their businesses, where they operate from, and what they're selling or promoting.
- Since launching the program last year, Google has verified advertisers in more than 90 countries.
- Google is introducing advertiser pages to enhance ad disclosures, which users can access in the about this ad menu to see the ads a specific verified advertiser has run over the past 30 days.
- Advertiser pages will give users more information about the company behind a specific ad and help differentiate credible advertisers while limiting the ability of bad actors to misrepresent themselves.
- Users can also more easily report an ad if they believe it violates Google's policies.
What It Means for Advertisers:
- Advertiser pages are designed to benefit the consumer and help them establish if they trust an advertiser or not.
- Advertiser pages are expected to launch in the coming months in the United States and will roll out in phases to more countries in 2022.
- Advertiser pages do not necessarily benefit YouTube advertisers who might want to get some competitive intelligence about what ads are running to their target audience.
- TubeSift's new tool, Video Ad Vault, allows YouTube advertisers to search for ads and see what messaging they are using for their target audience.
- Video Ad Vault also allows YouTube advertisers to see what landing pages those ads are pushing to and the number of views the ad has received over time.
- Video Ad Vault is a tool that can help YouTube advertisers stay on top of their game and become better digital marketers.
Google's new features for ads are designed to give users more transparency and help them establish trust with advertisers.
