- In this tutorial, we will be going through the process of setting up a new Shopify store from scratch
Steps:
1. Get a 14-day free trial for Shopify

2. Choose a store theme
- Click on Online Store on the left side menu, then on Themes
- Explore free themes and choose one that fits your business the best
- Add the new theme and publish it

- Edit all of your store pages like your home page, product pages, and collection pages
- Rearrange or delete sections as needed and add new sections by clicking on Add Section on the left side menu
- Add a logo, change the announcement bar text, and add a slideshow section with a shop now button
4. Set up collections
- Create new collections for your products and assign them to your collection list and feature collection
- Add products to your collections and make them active
5. Customize your footer and top menu
- Add links to your legal pages in the footer menu and add social media links
- Customize your top menu by adding links to your collections and contact page
6. Set up important settings
- Enter your store name and add a description under store details
- Set up your payment providers and shipping rates
