Is This The Best App For Shopify? YES. | 2022 Vitals Review

is this the absolute best shopify app out there and is this maybe the only app you'll ever need that's coming up? [Music]. welcome back to the channel. today we're doing a review of an app called vitals. vitals is a 40 in one shopify app. it's like 40 different shopify apps that you would normally pay individually for in one package, and generally i'm not a huge fan of these all-in-one kind of apps because they generally just don't do a very good job at doing a bunch of different things in one. but i have to say, after using vitals for a little while and going through some of these different features, i'm completely blown away. this might be the only app that you need for shopify and it's got a ton of different stuff in it that we're going to go into. and i also have to say i really believe that this app kind of takes the free shopify themes to the next level. it makes them way more professional, better looking and way more functional than they are on their own. so let's dive in. we're inside my computer and we're just looking at the shopify app page just kind of see what is inside of this app. so it's 40 in one and it's got things like upsells, bundling, currency converters, social proof, trust badges, a ton of stuff in here and some of the stuff you won't use, but a lot of it you will, and when you see how simple and easy it is, i think you'll really love this app. now it's 29.99 per month and i know that can seem a little bit hefty for an app, but when you consider everything that this app does, i think it's of steel at that price. when you think about what you would pay for you know a lot of these features. even if you had five or six of these features and you had individual apps for them, it really starts to become a bargain at that 29.99 per month. so there's a ton of stuff in here. i'm going to show you some of my favorites and show you how to install them. so let's dive into the actual app. we're now inside the app and we're looking at the dashboard. there's a lot of different stuff in here and if we look over on the left, we kind of see a breakdown of all of the different apps that are included in vitals and they're broken up by, you know, revenue, convert more, capture, leads, so they're kind of like these categories. i think that's really cool because it helps you organize all these different things and find things easily. so we're going to start up here at the boost revenue and i've got this connected to my kerry egler merchandise store- very simple store. i've got a free theme here, but i think it looks really clean and we just got a few products here that we've installed um. so i've got to connect to that store. we're going to start up here in the boost revenue area and i'm going to show you this product bundles feature. this is really really cool. again, this is something you probably pay 20 to 30 a month for on its own, with the power that it has, and then when you tok about adding in the volume discounts and different things, it's just really really good. so, product bundles- so this is really just giving a discount for bundling two products together. let me show you how simple this is. now. i haven't done any coding to the website or anything at all. i've just added the vitals app. it's a free 30-day trial as well, so you can try it out. so we're gonna click on create bundle and what we're going to do first is just enter the name, and this is only for you. this isn't visible on your store. i'm going to call it t plus mask bundle, and there's a few different product selection methods. you can have it auto, select the products, or you can select your own. i'm going to select my own in this case, and so i'm going to click right here and i'm going to select a t-shirt, and then i'm going to click here and i'm going to select this mask. now, right below this, we can actually specify the discount here, so i can click this and i can change the discount. i'm going to change this to 20, just like that. okay, so now i've got a 20 discount. so you can see here now for the t-shirt and the mask, it's discounting it down from 41.98 to 33.58. you save and 40 cents and you can adjust this as much as you want, and so now i'm gonna save it. okay, so now i've created a bundle and you can create as many bundles as you want. and if you're familiar with any other upsell apps in the shopify store, a lot of times they charge you for the more upsells you have or they'll increase your plan. so it's really cool that you can just create a ton of bundles here and not have any additional charge. what you pay for the vitals app is what you're, what you're going to pay for everything. so now that we've created a bundle, we just need to simply turn this on. so now we've turned on product bundles inside of our shopify store. so check this out: if we go to our store- just the live url- you can see it's merchkerryeglercom, so live store and i'm just going to go ahead and refresh that and now watch what happens when i go here to this t-shirt. let's say i'm a customer and i want to, you know, buy one of these and i come over here and select my size and hit add to cart. one more thing i want to show you regarding the product bundles feature. if you go to a product page on your website and actually scroll down, it will add this right here on your product page so you can actually just hit the buy now button and buy the bundle together. so there's so much you can do with the product bundles add-on. it's very, very powerful. i'm a big fan. once i get to the cart, you're going to see this pop-up right here that offers the mask and says that you can save 20 when you add it to the cart. so if we click this add to cart button right here and we can select our color if we want. we select this add to cart button here. it's going to add that mask on, and now we can see that we have a discount of 840 and we can simply just go check out and we've got that bundled discount. so so cool and so powerful what you can do with that. if we go back to the vitals app, you know we're able to customize what the actual wording is here- uh, you know, in the cart- and there's some other different options that we can do for this. so super, super powerful with product bundles. next up, we're taking a look at the stiky add to cart feature and what this will do is just show the add to cart button at the top of your website- or at the bottom of your website, depending on if you're on desktop or mobile- and it will follow the customer around a little bit, and this is especially useful if you have long product pages. a lot of us do, and i'll show this to you right now. so over here under convert more, we just click on stiky add to cart. and here's the options that we're going to get. first of all, for desktop, we can show the stiky add to cart. on desktop devices. we can show the quantity selector. we can select either top or bottom. then we can change our settings from mobile here- same settings. we can show product reviews. if you have the product reviews on this product, you can show those. i would definitely recommend that. if you have product reviews in there and then we can change the styling here, we can do a custom styling of it or we can just keep the style of the add to cart button on our website. we go up here and activate that, and what you're going to see here is really cool. so if we just go to one of these products and we start to scroll down, the stiky add to cart will pop up up here at the top, and so what you can see what's really cool is, when you scroll down on your product pages, you're not going to see the add to cart button, right? so this feature is going to keep that add to cart button in the customer's view at all times and will help increase conversions. if you're enjoying this video, i want to invite you to hit that like the look of your store is key. if you want to drive sales, then a polished, good-looking store is a must. it's not like real life dating. you don't have time to woo your customers with your charming personality. i'm sorry to break it to you, but it's all about the looks. so you need to be able to customize every bit of your store to match your brand. you need to be able to place each app where it looks the best and where it's most efficient. unfortunately, that isn't as easy as it seems, but i may have a solution for you. hello again. welcome back to the channel. as always, my name is christine and today i'm going to show you one very cool feature of vitals that will make your life easier and your store prettier, and that is the vitals editor. the great thing about the vitals app is that you have the option to customize the position of most apps on the page. so, without further ado, let's get to it. you can find the editor on the left hand side. all you have to do is click it and you'll be taken to a new page. here you have a preview of your store. let's go through the layout real quick. on the left, you have a list of all the apps you have activated in vitals that are compatible with the editor. please be aware that not all apps show up in the editor. pop-ups show up over the page, so there's no point in adjusting the placement here. an announcement bar, for example, does not show up even if it's active, as it's either over the header or floating. for the apps that aren't compatible with the editor, you can find placement settings within the apps themselves. another point here is that only the active apps show up in the list, just to keep things neat and tidy. so the countdown timer is currently active. if i disable it, go back to the editor and refresh the page. it's gone from the list. moving along. here at the top, you can select on which page you want to make the changes, either on the product pages or on the home page. as you can see, once i switch to the home page, the list on the left automatikally updates and you're only left with the apps that work on the home page. you also have a save button and you can also preview your changes on the store rather than seeing them in the preview below. let's go back to the product pages, since we have more available apps there, and see how the editor actually works. in the preview you can see where the apps are currently placed. in order to change an app's position, all you have to do is click on it and you'll automatikally be taken to its current placement. now we have three options. we can select the placement of the app either near the add-a-cart form, add-a-cart button, product description or product end section. the at a car button and the product descriptions are self-explanatory. the at a car form is this area around the add-a-car button that also includes the option selectors, the quantity field. this will allow you, for instance, to display the stok scarcity app right after the price on this page. the product ends section is that sidewide section over here that sits after this main section. that includes all the information related to the product: pictures, names, pricing, the add card form and the product description. as you can see, once you click on any of the options, the position moves on the page. once you select your desired position, you can set the app to show up either before or after. so we placed it near the product and section and we have it set before it. thus it's on the top of the section. if we move it after, the app will jump below the product end section. the last option allows us to choose if the app should be a part of the section we selected or as a separate section. now, this may sound a bit confusing, but it will become clear once you see it. so right now we have the app set on the outside. as you can see, it is not within the dotted lines, which represent the margins of the end product section. if i move it inside, this is what happens. see, the app is now within the dotted lines, so it's a part of the end product section. if we're happy with our placement, we can save the changes and preview them on the store. the stok scarcity app should be the very last thing we see. yep, here we go. the three options are standard among all apps. depending on the placement, the inside- outside option might or might not show up. for example, the product end section has both of them. the add to cart button, though, only has before and after, since you can position apps inside of the add carbon. that's how the vitals editor works. it's straightforward and an awesome tool to customize your pages. it's worth mentioning that, if you'd like an app to be placed in a position that is Vitals Product Reviews App Tutorial for Shopify - Part 1: Setting up the app

let's tok about one of the most useful ways to eliminate a shopper's concern about a product. no matter whether you're a popular brand or just starting out, product reviews do play a crucial role in your ecommerce business. research shows that 95 of visitors rely on reviews to evaluate or learn more about a product, and it's only natural, since credibility is one of the key elements that decide the success of your brand in the long run. the product reviews app is by far the most complex app in vitals, so we split this tutorial into three parts. today, i'm going to cover how to properly set up the app and get reviews on your products. for this reason, i'll jump right to the settings tab, as this is where you get to set up most of the apps functionality. you'll find here a plethora of settings, and i'll explain to you the most important ones, and we're going to start with the sort order. you can either sort the reviews by newest first or by those reviews which have a photo attached. you also have the option to select how many reviews are to be shown as a preview and how many after the visitor opts to see all reviews. the cool thing here is that you have individual controls for desktop and mobile. this is key, since you want your store to be mobile friendly. not only that, but you can also choose the number of review columns on mobile devices. you might not want to automatikally publish all the reviews you receive, so you can use this setting to either hold all reviews for moderation or just the ones with a low rating. if you want to be notified when a review is posted, you just need to enable this setting. moving along, we've now reached the review card settings. this is where you get to customize the look and feel of your reviews section. you can show review dates, and this ties directly to the next setting. do you want to show recent dates or the real ones? having the recent dates shown will most likely increase the credibility of your store, since it will give the impression that your store is active and getting hits. speaking of credibility, you can also increase it by showing your customers full name. these next settings are pretty self-explanatory, but i'd like to take a couple of moments to tok about these couple of options in this section related to verified purchases. you can have verified icons show up on your reviews. if you enable the setting, the product reviews app will automatikally match the customer's data to existing orders and show the verified icon. you can also do that manually and mark any review as verified. product reviews are typically placed at the end of the page after the product description, but you can easily show the star rating at the top of the page after the product title so that the visitors can click on it and scroll down to see the reviews. the snippet is present over here and if you want to configure it, you can do that in this section of the app. snippets can be placed automatikally on collection pages and the home page as well, where the products are displayed. you just need to check this option and configure how the snippet should look like. let me go back to the store and show you how these snippets look like: [Music]. going back to the app, you also have the option to ban certain keywords. if you're doing drop shipping from aliexpress, for example, you might want to add aliexpress and china as banned keywords to distance yourself from the preconceived notions people may have about them. finally, we have the translations section. this is where you can translate everything in your store's language. with that, we're done with the settings tab. i know it was a long one, but we're not finished yet. let's say that you get plenty of orders but not enough reviews. well, we've got you covered. you can request reviews from your customers automatikally directly from the product reviews app. all you need to do to enable the automatik sending of emails to request reviews is just check this box. once you do this, based on these two conditions- number of days passed since an order has been received or marked as fulfilled- emails are sent automatikally. this feature will take into account all the orders you've received in the past 30 days since the moment it's enabled and will automatikally send a review request seven days after an order is fulfilled, just as i configured it here. the 30 days hard limit is to make sure we don't send a request to old customers. please be aware that email review requests are sent only to those orders that have changed their status after you've enabled the feature, so if the trigger is based on order fulfillment, it won't work on orders that were already fulfilled before you turn on automatik review requests. the last setting here pertains to the gdpr rules in europe. in europe, it's illegal to send marketing communications to people without their prior consent, so if you are based in or shipped to the eu, we highly recommend that you enable this feature. with all the back-end setup out of the way, let's get to crafting your email review request. you can add your logo and customize the subject. you can take a more formal approach or an informal one by keeping the first name syntax. this will automatikally take the first name of the customer and fill it in whatever you choose as your email subject. just make sure it's catchy and makes the customer open the email. next, you can customize the greeting, the contents and the ending of the email. if you want to see how your email will look like, you can add your email address right here and you'll be sent a preview. let's do that and see how it looks. in the next two parts we'll discuss more about importing reviews from aliexpress or other review apps, as well as how to manage them. if you found this video helpful, make sure you subscribe to the channel, as we post new videos every single week. if we can help with anything, please let us know. our customer support team is available 24: 7.. thanks for watching and see you soon.

this shopify app has over 40 features and using this app alone, you can turn a boring, non-interactive shopify template site into something that's truly unique, it's custom and it's very interactive. so the app i'm going to be covering today is called vitals: all-in-one marketing. now, i recently found this app when one of my seo clients was asking for more features on their shopify ecommerce store, such as upsells, and not only was i able to add upsells, but i was able to add a load of other features that have increased conversions and generated thousands of dollars of new sales. now that's enough toking. let's just start going through the features one by one, and definitely feel free to skip around, because there are a lot of features in vitals. okay, so the first app i'm going to cover is visitor replays. now, this is basically something that allows you to watch what the visitors of your website are doing. so before i implemented this app, i wasn't really confident in the changes i was making to the website, and i didn't know if they were actually increasing conversions or really what the problems with the website were in the first place. so since i've added this app, i'm able to watch how long the visitor is staying on a page, what are they looking at, what are they reading, what are they skipping over? and it's just an infinite amount of really useful information. that's pretty much changed the way that i do website design and seo. if there's one app that's going to help you increase conversions and generate more sales, it's probably this one, because this app allows you to literally analyze every single part of your site, every product, every page, and you're going to be able to make decisions based on that information. now the question you're probably all wondering is: can you watch the user type in their email and password? no, obviously that would be unethical and it would be a serious privacy concern. so you cannot see anything that the user types in. so before we move into the next feature, i do have one ask. please hit that thumbs up button for me. it really helps my channel get found by more people, and i would appreciate it a lot because it took me quite a while to learn vitals and make this video. but let's get back to it, okay? so the next feature is upsells. now i've been messing around with a couple types of upsells. what is an upsell? it's basically an attempt to get the user to buy more products when they're looking through your store. so the two that i've been playing with have been volume discounts and product bundles. now this upsell works surprisingly well. people just for some reason, like to add more quantity of their favorite products and then get a percentage off. i guess it makes sense, because people want more of their favorite things. the other upsell i've been playing with is the product bundles. now you're basically able to combine different sets of products or just sets of products in the same collections in order to give a discount for buying those two products together. now this is another upsell that works well, because when somebody's looking at one of their favorite products and then they see an option to get this product but also this other product that they might like at a discount, there's no other opportunity on the site to get those two products at that discount, and so it really is an opportunity for them to save money and try something new. another feature is the countdown timer. now this is when you're in a product, you can see that there's a timer for a sale ending, and this is pretty much to promote urgency for the person buying that product. if there's no sales or no urgency created, then the chances of them buying the product are a lot lower because they feel like they can just come back tomorrow and get it at the same price, or come back a year from now and it won't be anywhere. but with the countdown timer you can really create that urgency and give them a deal that they're actually incentivized to buy it now. okay. so next up is the cart timer. now, this is another one of those apps that creates fomo, creates urgency. so when somebody adds products to their cart, they're going to go in and see that the cart is only reserved for x amount of time, say 25 minutes. this is another one that's going to make them say, hey, if i don't buy this now, i might not actually have the chance to get it in the next 30 minutes. so let me make sure that i put this order in and i get my product, okay, the next feature is announcement bars. so you've probably seen these before. whether it's at the top of the site or the bottom, it's a little bar that has some sort of offer, some sort of incentivization for the customer to go somewhere or do something. the way that i implemented it into farmtrue was by adding the welcome code for new users, so the first time that somebody ever enters the store, they can see this announcement bar come up. it says: if you want to subscribe, then you can get 15 off your first order. now, this is a great way to keep new customers engaged with your company, keep them reading your newsletter and being a fan of your products. but the problem we were having was that the pop-up was way too obstructive and using the visitor replays app, we were able to find out that people were leaving the second the pop-up came up because it's so obstructed. so we turned it into the announcement bar and i'll tell you how it goes in the next update, but as of now, we think that it's going to be a major upgrade from the pop-up. so, speaking of pop-ups, vitals also has the option for a couple different kinds of pop-up ads. now, pop-ups are great. you know they have their purposes. they they can be very beneficial in a lot of cases. but if they're used incorrectly, then it's going to really hurt your conversion rate and, frankly, piss people off. auto external links: this is a feature that automatikally turns all of the links on your website to links that open in a new tab. now, when i say all of the links, i'm not toking about links to your own site, but i'm toking about external links. so if you're linking to another site or another company, for example, you would click on that link and then it automatikally opens in a new tab. now why might you want this? it's because you don't want people clicking on other links and then leaving your website and forgetting about you. you want your tab to stay on the left and then a new tab to open up so that they can quickly navigate back and forth between both sites. seo alt tags. so this is just another small feature that pretty much automatikally implements alt tags into the photos on your shopify site. you know, all tags are good for your site and for your photos, because google does not have the ability to look at a photo. all they could do is look at the file name and then the alt tag. so it's really important that your alt tags all are named with either the product name or the keyword that you're targeting, and this tool automatikally does it for you, which is really nice. okay, the last two features i'm going to be covering are the agree to terms check box and the cookies bar. first up is the agree to terms check box. now what this does is pretty self-explanatory. it's going to make you agree to the terms and conditions of the company, so that the company is not liable against potential lawsuits and the user knows what they're agreeing to before they actually move forward with an action. and, lastly, is the cookies bar. so it's a requirement that your website tells users if they're tracking information, such as cookies, and you should tell the user- it's their right of privacy to know that they're being tracked, what information is being tracked and how it's being used. needless to say, this app has a lot of features and functionality. now this could potentially be the single app that you need to turn a boring template site into something that's completely custom and interactive. so i definitely encourage you to check out the app and let me know what you think of it in the comments. also, let me know what other apps you

okay. so this video is going to be reviewing everything about the shopify app called vitals. it's 40 apps into one, so it's actually, um, something that's going to save your customer money in the long run by not having to have other all these other apps that we used to have people install. so it's actually a really, really cool and powerful app and it's going to help us with conversions. it's going to help us with um just presentation, adding trust to the pages. this is going to help with a lot of things, um, which, in the end, is going to help with more conversions. so, anyways, let me um go ahead and open it. we can go through it, and i'm not going to go through every single thing because, not, we don't employ or we don't use every single one of the features of it, and it also can change, you know, from one customer to another. but we will review this enough so that, by the end of the video, we can know how to use this app on pretty much every single store and then, if there's a customer that needs a specific um feature of it, then we can always dive in there and work one-on-one or figure out how to how to use that. okay, so, first of all, when you want your customer to install this um, you want to direct them to go to the shopify app store. there should be a template already that i've made that you can use to send to your customers with a list of apps that we normally use or that we're asking for them to, you know, to set up, and i have the link already in those. but just in case if you ever need it, you go here, which is the shopify app store. you can just google this too, and then you're going to type in vitals app. let's say, okay, and it's right here, and this is the link that you would give them up here. i would probably clean it up like that. and there you go, that's your link that you would give out to your customers and then, as as they're logged into their shopify store, they'll be able to come in here, add the app and it automatikally integrates. and if it comes up, the way this gets paid- the 29 a month- is with um, it is through the shopify, so shopify, the way they charge you- is just one payment for all your apps and the shopify stores as well. so it'll just be, you know, one payment integrated into that. there is other apps that uh customers um have to pay for, like, let's say, uh, ocu, the one click upsell app, um, they have to pay for that separately over there. but okay, so that's what they do. they go here, they add the app, then you get it installed now. then we come behind them and we can set everything up. let's review really quick here what they say: uh, this can help us with um. so 40 apps in one. you can see here we got product reviews. we got currency converter, if you're, if they're gonna be, you know, uh international type of store, uh wheel of fortune, which is really cool thing. that pops up when um you want to have customers click the little button and it spins the wheel so you can see what kind of re, what kind of a discount you're going to get today in exchange for, uh, your email or sometimes just your phone number, and that's a list building type of thing. product bundles. so this is like your frequently bought together type of thing that is in the product page, um, so it will increase your average order value and allow us to, you know, get higher roast and spend more money on on on our campaigns. okay, quantity breaks. so if you buy two, you get five percent off. if you get three, you get 10 off. that kind of thing. um, that's something that we definitely use on every single store. this is also something that we've tested on multiple stores. some stores make sense, some it doesn't. like we have a store that sells shoes, it doesn't really make sense to offer them- oh, i'm sorry, that would be more like the volume discount. doesn't really make sense for them to do volume discount. oh, buy three of the same shoes and you're gonna get 20 off. i mean, um, you know what i mean? it doesn't really fit there, okay, um, a visitor replay. so this uh is replacing um lucky orange. it was another app that we were using to check out, um, our, our visitors, and watch the recording so we can learn what they're doing and we can learn if there's something going on that's not helping us or that's, you know, hurting our conversions or something that is helping us and we can do more of that. that kind of thing. uh, pre-orders, uh, bring sales on out of stok products- no, no, not that one. uh, we'd rarely use that one. facebook pixels: we use a different app for this. i'm not going to touch on that recent sales notification. so this is something that, uh, i don't know if you've ever seen, but it's like a little pop-up comes up on on the bottom of the page and it says, hey, jay, from you know, texas just bought item x an hour ago, that sort of thing. so it creates this social proof and it creates this, uh, urgency type of thing where it's like, oh my god, i'm, you know, fomo, fear of missing out. so it just creates that for you with that, with the notifier, trust seals and badges. this is something that we use a lot. uh, we'll take a look at it here when we dive more into it. but this, these are little badges that go on a product page that says, maybe like free shipping, or it says, uh, guaranteed 60-day guarantee, or something like that, or you know whatever. i'll show you here in a second what those, uh, what it says. but these also have been shown to increase the trust and then increase our conversion. so we always do that stiky add to cart button always should be employing this, which means that when people are scrolling through, uh, the product page, the little add to cart button, it'll stik to the top of the page. um, especially on mobile, this is very key because you don't have to scroll all the way back to up to the top. it just makes it nice and easy to have the add to cart button at the top and it increases our conversions in that way. hide paypal, amazon, google and apple pay from cart. this is also something that we use a lot. um, i highly recommend this because we want the pixel to be able to learn, and if you're giving people the option to just click the paypal button on the, on the ad, on the cart page or even on the product page sometimes, then you're skipping all the other steps on the on the funnel and your pixel is not going to learn. not to mention, sometimes people can um check out with paypal, you know, and when you're done, it's supposed to redirect you back to our thank you page and give you a confirmation, this and that. but some people they just check out and then, as soon as they see that paypal has gone through, boom, they just go on about their way and then we miss out on that purchase pixel and it's not even going to show up on your ads manager. so this is something that's super important here. and then there's- there's a bunch of other stuff that um, you have to get into every single one of these, but, um, this is another one that we use the top bar to announce free shipping. it's a little thing that goes on the top of the page that, uh, it just simply says free shipping on orders where you can say free shipping 30 and a buff or something like that. so that's also, uh, very helpful. so people don't have to kind of guess that until they get to the very end and your checkout. they already know that when they're on the product page. okay, so to access your vitals, you're going to go on your shopify store over here where it says apps. you're going to go to your vitals app here. click and it opens up your dashboard for vitals app. so over here on the left is your menus, and each one of these here is- you can consider it like a different app, um, inside of idle. so if you want to call it that like, for example, here we activated nine different apps so far. what's cool is in the dashboard here it'll also tell you how many assisted sales this app has helped you with. so if you ever want to report that to your customers, i highly suggest that, because it is a 29 a month app, so they want to know that they're gonna get, um, you know, an roi from spending this and it definitely pays for itself very fast. um, you can take a screenshot of this or you could just s.

Vitals Upsell Builder Product Bundles App Tutorial for Shopify

did you know that you could increase your average order value by upselling and cross-selling? you invite the customer to buy more expensive items, upgrades or other add-ons to generate more revenue. for example, do you want fries with that? we've all heard this phrase. the happy meal- has made this marketing strategy famous. its purpose in the minds of customers- product bundling- increases perceived value, lower prices and added convenience make for a greater shopping experience. this works especially well for fashion related e-commerce. rather than having customers going back and forth between multiple tabs determining which pair of jeans matches a certain jumper, offering an entire outfit at a discount makes the buying decision easier. with our newly redesigned upsell builder app, it's now easier than ever to create product bundles and increase your average order value. you can find the upsell builder app under the boost revenue category. you'll notike more upsell apps here and will continuously add even more in the upsell builder app, so stay tuned. there's no better time to be a vitals user. you'll first notike these two tabs. the general settings tab is where you can decide if you want to show the star rating from the product reviews app and add translations if your store is in another language. in the other tab- excluded products- you can exclude certain products from being automatikally used by our upsell apps. all you have to do is click on select products and choose the ones you want. now that we discuss what's generally available for all apps within the upsell builder, let's tok a bit about what you need to do to make sure your offers will run smoothly. if i scroll down, we get to the section where we're provided with some information. in order for the app to function properly, we need to make sure that these four conditions are met. first, you need to enable your store's cart page. you can have drawer, pop-ups or dynamic carts. if you want to use our upsell apps in order to enable the cart page, all you have to do is follow this guide. here. you'll get step-by-step instructions on what to do. next up, you can have multiple upsell or crosshail apps installed on your store. while all apps within vitals work seamlessly and don't come into conflict with each other, if you use, for example, vitals product bundles and an external upsell app, those will come into conflict and will not work properly. for a detailed explanation, click on this link and have a read moving along. in order for discounts to be applied properly, you need to disable custom checkouts, as it's clearly stated, upsell apps only work with the shopify standard checkout. for more details- you've probably notiked a pattern here- you can click on this hyperlink and you'll be provided with more information. lastly, dynamic checkout buttons. you need to get rid of them. in order to do so, you need to enable the high dynamic checkout buttons app and vitals. click here and turn it on. that won't mean that your customers will not be able to pay via paypal or apple pay. they'll have that opportunity in the checkout. with that, we are ready to start using the upsell builder app. more specifically, product bundles. under the offers tab, you see all the bundles you have already created. obviously, if you're new to vitals, this list will be empty, so let's remedy that by creating a new bundle. all you have to do is click on this button right here at the top. you first need to name your new bundle. this name is only visible to you, so make sure you choose a name that's easily recognizable and makes sense so you can find it without a problem later on. since this is just for show, i'm going to call it test 1.. underneath, you can enable or disable the bundle. you can also do this from the main dashboard as well, i'll show you that a bit later on. now for the fun part, choosing the products that will be a part of the bundle- just click select and you'll get this popup. now you have three options. in this new bundle, you can include any product that you have for sale, a specific product or products from a collection, or any products from the same collection. this might be a bit confusing, so i'm gonna break it down for you. any product, that's self-explanatory. when it comes to specific products, you can select any product you want. you also have the option to select a certain product variant to be your default, or even multiple products. for example, let's say that for any phone case, i want to provide my customers the option to bundle it with a mug at a lower price. for that, i need to select all the cases in product a and click save. you'll notike this info bar letting me know that i have no inventory for one or more products. that's a cool feature built into the app for your convenience. i'll ignore it for now, since this is just for show. now i'll go to product b and select the mug. this is how the offer will look like for any of the items in product a: our phone cases. our customers will be given the option to buy a mug at a discounted price, and you can add as many products as you like to this bundle by just clicking the plus sign or remove products. but what about specific collections? well, when you select a specific collection, for example tees and hoodies- then all products from that specific collection will be bundled with the selected mug. it works exactly the same way as before, but instead of you selecting one or multiple specific products, you can choose an entire collection and be done with it. and our third option- same collection- means that product b, our mug- will only be bundled with other products from the collection it is part of. so, considering that our mug is part of two collections- home page and accessories- then the app will automatikally select products from those two collections to bundle it with. that was a long one. we can now move on to discounts. you can select the discount type- if it should be a percentage of the total amount or an exact sum, how much it should be and what it should be based on. you can see how this will look like in the preview right here underneath. you also get some best practikes for creating successful product bundles. i highly encourage you to read through them. you can show product bundles on the product page, car page, or both simply make them visible or hide them. on the product page, you can customize the offer title and the message on the buy now button, while on the car page you have two distinct messages: one where you offer a discount and one where you don't. you can change the message, but please don't mess around with the syntax. the app will automatikally populate the message with the correct information based on the offer you create. lastly, you can customize the message that shows up near the discount on the cart page. once you're done, click save and go back to the main dashboard. your newly created offer will appear at the top of the list. here you can see its name, the products that are a part of it, the offer type and its status. this is where you can turn it on and off. all that's left to do now is turn on the app and check your store. so let's see, we created an offer with products from the teas and hoodies collection and a mug. if i go to the collection and select a product at random, i should be offered the bundle. yep, here we go, and just to show you that this works with any product from the collection, i'll go back and select a different one. as you can see, the bundle is still being offered at the moment. the bundles are being shown in this section right here, but you can customize that too. for the moment, let's click the buy now button. both products will be added to cart and the discount will be displayed in the cart right here. let me show you another powerful feature: the card up sell suggestions. i'll delete the product added to the bundle, update the cart and you'll see here the upsell suggestion. visitors can pick their preferred option and edit a card with a single click. again, the discount is shown. i was telling you earlier that you can customize the placement of the product.
