Don Lapre Sells Tiny Classified Ads

this is one of most incredible things that I have seen. the second way to make money that I stumbled onto with placing tiny classified ads in the newspaper. if you create and test one tiny classified ad in the newspaper that makes just thirty to forty dollars profit in a week, it could make you a fortune, because the secret is learning how to take that one tiny classified ad that just made thirty to forty dollars profit in a week and to realize that you can now take that same exact ad and place it in up to three thousand other newspapers around the country. that's what I did. I found tiny classified ads that made thirty to forty dollars profit in a week and I placed those ads and around a thousand other newspapers around the country. that's how I generated over fifty thousand dollars a week out of my one-bedroom apartment and in my making money package. I'll show you some secrets about placing ads. it's going to make you wish you started doing this five years ago, and there are millions of different types of ads that you can create. I've been toking about doing this for the last five years and I'm still placing classified ads in newspapers all over the country every day of the week. I've been doing this for the last five years and I'm still making millions of dollars doing exactly what I'm toking about. and now there are people that got I'm making money package and they started placing tiny classified ads in the newspapers, just like I did. was it half as easy as I said it was gonna be? it's unbelievable. the first time I the checks were in the mailbox, I could not believe it. just by ordering the making money package, by placing one tiny ad after another, you have generated over two hundred thousand dollars in five months. I don't even sound right, does it? how long did it take you? from the day you got to make money package before you, you took an ad, you placed it in the newspaper and you saw the results. how long did it take you? no more than four or five days. and how did it do? it did phenomenal. so it's still going to. Elmo. one time, when I was at Don's office, walked in and on his table there there was stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks of these sheets of paper stapled together and I said: what is all this? and he said: well, those are my ad tracking sheets for all the ads that I have running all over the country. that's really when the reality of the placing ads really hit me. that, ironically, was just a couple months after I ran my first ad that that did just under $9,000 in sales. did you ever think in one day you'd be depositing 3700 bucks in the bank? another day 2400, another day 5,000 bucks? these are date. these are daily right. yes, those are there. you can read the dates on them. that's incredible. if you get started buying and selling, or if you get started placing classified ads in the newspaper, you may start making so much money you may not want to do anything else, but the third way to make money that I stumbled on to that ended up generating over eighty thousand dollars a week, week after week after week, was getting set up with my very own one nine hundred line. the one nine hundred business has grown into a mega million-dollar giant, and now anyone who wants to get set up with their own one nine hundred business can. in just a few days from today, you can be set up with your very own one nine hundred line. and listen to this: you don't need any equipment, because there are companies out there that are called service bureaus that already have all the one nine hundred programs completely set up. not only that, they'll even take the calls for you for around ten to fifteen cents a minute while you're sleeping. you could be making money if you get set up with your very own one nine hundred line. the only thing you'll ever have to do is advertise to get people to pick up the phone and dial your 900 number. the phone company even collects all the money for you, and there are programs like sport lines, psychic lines, gate lines, lines that are already completely set up. having a 900 line could be one of the most exciting things you have ever done, not to mention the money that could be made. listen to some of my top students that got set up with their very own one 900 program. I've told all kinds of people and a lot of them don't believe me then I

Making Money With Newspaper Classified Ads

hey guys, paul bertsol, now let's tok about paid advertising to market your affiliate links. now the paid method that i'm going to share with you again. first off, i want to make sure that you understand: paid methods may not be your cup of tea. you might want to just stik with free methods, and that's fine, but those of you that want to make your business grow much, much faster and automate the business a lot more, you're definitely going to want to pay attention to paid marketing and advertising methods. now, what i want to tok to you about today is using tiny classified ads in small local newspapers around you and across the world. now, what i want to share with you, though, is- uh, before you go into diving exactly how you go to do it, i want to share a little quick story with you. see, back in 1998, i began to look for ways to make extra income from home. just like probably most people getting involved in the industry, i had a good job, but it just, you know, i had enough. i had more month at the end of the money, so, basically, i went out to look for an extra way to make an extra 500 to a thousand dollars a month. one night, i was watching tv. i came home from a buddy's place and i saw a late night infomercial with a guy really excited. it caught my attention and i started to watch that commercial. now i watched this commercial probably five to ten times before i even picked up the phone, the 800 number, to actually order his course. um, i'm going to provide that actual commercial that i saw just a clip from it, so that you can understand why i responded. now this fellow, don lapre, is deceased. he committed suicide just a few years ago. i i contribute a lot of my early success over probably five million dollars to him in when i would just strictly use online classifieds. now i want to share with you some of the products that you know from his course and teaching you how to run classified ads in the newspaper. i went out to produce products like this: okay, unclaimed bank accounts, uh, cashing in on canada's 200 million dollar unclaimed bank accounts. i made this little booklet back in 2002 or, sorry, 2000.. i don't know if you can see the date or not, but this is. this is over. this is almost 15 years old now and i just made a little booklet, sold it in classified ads and made 1.3 million dollars selling this booklet in tiny classified ads. another product i want to share with you i came up with was called the burt's all easy income system. now this is going to show people how to make a thousand and seven- uh, one thousand seven hundred dollars in a week. now, um again, these are just more my historical background. i keep these for souvenirs. i don't sell them anymore, anything like that. but my point was is that i could write little tiny classified ads based on the course which i'm teaching you on this page now for as part of you know, my success guide. but i sold these products and made millions and millions of dollars, not advertising on the internet, because back in 1998 and 2000 i was not even on the internet and i used tiny classified ads. most people don't realize that they're just as effective today as they were back in those days. so here's a little clip from don lapre on the ad that i actually it's kind of fun to see it over and over again and i reply to it now there's an 800 number on it probably doesn't even work anymore. the point is not to you to get donald priest course, because you don't need to pay for anything. he's he's deceased anyway. but all the information that he shared with me back in those days and the multi-millions of dollars i made from placing those classified ads as probably the premier paid source of advertising i would ever recommend to anybody, especially to promote this affiliate program that we have here. with this program, i would recommend using tiny classified ads. go ahead and watch dawn's video and i'll be back with the last message. the second way to make money that i stumbled onto was placing tiny classified ads in the newspaper. if you create and test one tiny classified ad in the newspaper that makes just thirty to forty dollars profit in a week, it could make you a fortune, because the secret is learning how to take that one tiny classified ad that just made thirty to forty dollars profit in a week and to realize that you could now take that same exact ad and place it in up to 3 000 other newspapers around the country. that's what i did. i found tiny classified ads that made 30 to forty dollars profit in a week and i place those ads in around a thousand other newspapers around the country. that's how i generated over fifty thousand dollars a week out of my one bedroom apartment, and in my making money package i'll show you some secrets about placing ads. that's going to make you wish you started doing this five years ago, and there are millions of different types of ads that you can create. i've been toking about doing this for the last five years and i'm still placing classified ads in newspapers all over the country every day of the week. i've been doing this for the last five years day, 5 000 bucks. these are, these are daily right? yes, those are down. you can read the dates on them. that's incredible. you get started placing classified ads in the newspaper. you may start making so much money you may not want to do anything else. now you may have seen where i picked up some of my style, right, and that goes back years and years and and i, from what i understand and being uh toking with dawn at that time, because i was one of his best students at the time- i was making over a million million- point, three million- dollars a year placing those little ads. now what i have for you- the information below- is the simplified version of his course. okay, you already have a prize. back then i had to create my own products. you don't have to create a product. we already have a high converting product, right, very, very high converting. all you have to do is pick a newspaper from the sources that i provide. um, understand that you can multiply that after you have success, with a small one and your test ad. you can run them in dozens of papers every week, hundreds of papers every single week and thousands of papers every week, like where i get up to. okay, now, classified ads are really simple. you want to be creative with your ad. you want to test headlines and test bodies, but i will give you a starting point: not only with the sources in your, in your area, or in in the united states and canada, or any country for that matter around the world. this will work. um, is i give you some sample ads below? okay, that i have tested with this offer and do produce results? okay, and then some some further information on how you p.

How to Advertise on Newspaper and Magazine - Pros and Cons (Part 1/5)

[Music]. so in my other video I made a promise that I would make another video comparing the rates across all advertising platforms, which, now that I come to think of it, it is nearly impossible. due to the unlimited ways that you can advertise. I mean, I can stik a name on the back of my sister's money and pay him to go walk around the park to gain some exposure. that can be considered as a form of advertising - instead, I'm going to focus on these five types of advertising platforms over a span of five separate videos, and this is part one of five: newspaper advertising: when I first started on my research, I thought this was going to be a walk in the park, but as it turned out is a freaking jungle and you will see later. there are a lot of factors that stammering the pricing of newspaper ads. the field of newspaper advertising is divided into two platforms: current advertising and digital advertising. let us first take a look at print advertising. there are three ways where you can advertise and print: classified ads, classified display ads and display ads. classified ads are typically used by small business owners looking to hire employees or private individuals seeking to sell high value items like a car or a boat. classified ads are limited to only using words to advertise. no special fonts, borders or pictures are allowed and are confined to just one column. classified ads are also the cheapest of the three and they're either charged by the number of words or lines in the ads. in addition, all the classified ads are less than a classified section of the newspaper and are listed under specific categories. [Music] classified display ads like - classified ads. the classified display ads are also listed in the classifieds page of the newspaper and are listed under specific categories. the differences are that classified display ads are allowed to host images, customize their fonts and sizes, create borders around the ads after options to be printed in colors and have the ability to extend beyond just one column. but the most important part- and this is where it can get a little confusing- is that it is priced by column inch. so what this? a column inch? that is a measuring system that newspaper publishers use to determine the cost of advertising for classified display ads and display ads. the column measures the width and the inch measures the height. the typical newspaper consists of six columns and twenty-one inches, for a total of 126 column inches. one full page is equivalent to 126 column inches. now. for example, if the rate of advertising is $2 per column inch and we want to advertise on the whole page, then we need to multiply the price by 126 column inches, which will be 250- $2.00 per day. and if you think that's expensive, I hope you don't get a heart attack when we take a look at some real at rates later on. display ads are what we normally see and associate with when we read the newspaper and it's the most expensive of the three. unlike to classify display ads, which exist only in the classifieds page of the newspaper, display ads are free to roam the different sections of the paper and have no site limitations, meaning they can take up the whole page or even just half a page. before we move on to examine their a traits of those platforms from different publishers, we need to understand that the cost of advertising depends on several factors: publication circulation. the newspaper circulation is the number of copies printed and distributed on an average day. a big publisher elect in New York Times as daily circulation of 571 thousand copies a day, while a small publisher like the Bozeman Daily Chronicle Montana has a circulation of fourteen thousand copies a day. obviously, when you have the potential to reach more audience, the more authority of paper hats and therefore the more expensive you are. New York Times has a rate of $270 per column inch while Bozeman Daily Chronicle charges $22 per column inch. days of the week, the rate of advertising on Sunday is typically higher due to the higher circulation on that partikular day. when the Bozeman Daily Chronicle the rate for Sunday ad that's just a dollar more than the dailies in big cities. you can expect a wider difference between the two sizes. priests of explanitory, although I'll add that to columns by 3 inches is the same as three columns by two inches. they both have a sum of six inches, but with a different shape. color versus black and white. the World Journal is a pretty big Chinese newspaper publisher publishing in big cities like LA, San Francisco and New York. in this example we see that the price difference between color and black and white can be very drastik, ranging from a few hundred dollars to a thousand dollars. positions or sections. when you run a display ad, by default the position of your ad is determined by the newspaper publishers and it might be delegated to a section that does not benefit your business. for example, your business sells cosmetiks but the publisher puts your ad in the sports section. that might not be ideal. you would want your ad to be placed in a health or Style section, somewhere your readers can relate to. this method is called run of press. if you want your ad to appear in a specific section of the newspaper, this is called premium position. if we're running a sports store, you want to advertise in a sports section, but the premium price can cost you 25% or more than a standard run of press. also, if you want to advertise in the premium position, you usually have to commit to advertise for a number of times, to even be considered frequency. how frequently do you want to run your ads? our Iranian: daily, once a week, 12 times a year. the more often you advertise, the more discount you get. [Music] dollar volume contract. this is another way to get discount when you advertise. basically, you would have to fork over the money up front and come in to one of the tiers listed in the contract. for example, when the bozeman Daily Chronicle of advertised, normally the open rate is $20 and 95 cents per column inch. on the other hand of I sign a contract and pay two thousand four hundred dollars up front, I get to enjoy a discounted rate of 17 dollars and 81 cents per column inch on the weekdays. with this rate I will be able to advertise up two hundred thirty-five column inches before the fun is to pleat it. remember how full page of paper is- 126 column inches. you're pretty much broke after running a full-page ad in one day. classified ad. we mentioned earlier that classified ads are priced either by the word count or the number of lines. in this example, the Advocate in Louisiana newspaper. the open ray per line during the weekday is $4 and 18 cents. if we take a look at this lawn tractor ad that consists of four lines, means that the ad will cost $16 and 72 cents per day. [Music] display ads. display ads are priced by column inch. we'll be using the average car from Washington Post as a reference. an open rate is the rate for running a single ad, but is used if you want to advertise occasionally or just to test the water. it is also the most expensive because there's no discount. the open rate for daily is nine hundred twenty seven dollars per column inch. the price for a two by two or four column in Chad would cost three thousand seven hundred and eight dollars per day. weekly, monthly, annual contract. here the annual frequency rate comes with two options. you can advertise three to twelve times per year at a rate of seven hundred thirteen dollars per column inch, or 13 or more times per year at a rate of six hundred seventy dollars per column inch. let's say I'll go for the minimum and commit to three insurgents per year and I would like to run a two by two, four column inch ad every time. they'll be seventeen thirteen dollars times four column inch times three insurgents. with this annual contract we're looking to pay eight thousand five hundred and fifty six dollars to run three ads. the monthly frequency schedule comes with three options. let's choose the minimum of two insurg.

How to write the perfect want ad

what does it take to put together the perfect team? it takes the perfect one, dad. but how do you write the perfect one tab? most of us take out ad in the newspaper and Craigslist and we say what we're looking for- an account executive or personal assistant, something like that- and we get inundated with responses. but that doesn't guarantee that the people that we're going to hire are great fits, because what makes a great team are people who believe what you believe. if somebody believes what you believe, they're going to work for you with blood and sweat and tears. if they don't believe what you believe, they work for your money. the example I love to use is of Ernest Shackleton. Shackleton was a turn-of-the-century English explorer and what makes him famous is that he and his team were stranded in the Antarctik ice for 22 months. but what makes Shackleton expedition famous is that no one died. no one died after 22 months being stranded on the ice. this was not lucky. Shackleton hired the perfect team and, just like us, he took out an ad in the newspaper. he took out an ad in the London Times. now, it didn't say what he needed. it didn't say men needed for expedition must have five years experience and know how to hoist the mainsail. that's not what he said. and think about how we write one tides. account executive needed minimum five years experience, must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and we get inundated with responses. what Shackleton's ad said was something different. he was brutally honest about what the conditions were like to work aboard his ship and on this expedition, and his ad in the London Times went like this: men needed for hazardous journey: long hours, bitter cold, dark nights, survival doubtful if success, Honor guaranteed. the only people who were applied for the job were people who loved insurmountable odds. the only people who apply for the job were people who read that ad and went cool, and that's why Shackleton and his crew survived on the ice for 22 months. he hired people who were great fits. now, when we take out ads or when we're interviewing people, we sometimes butter up what the job is going to be like. we're not brutal honest. if your office is chaotik, tell people that it's, that it's chaotik. if you're in office environment is one where everybody works late, say that in your ads. say that in your interview, because if you don't, you're going to hire people who fall in love with the job that you're selling, but not the job that they get. be brutally, brutally honest what it's like to work for you and what you believe, and you'll find it amazing the kinds of people you can recruit for your team. I did this recently when I hired somebody to join my team and if you look below, you can see the exact one tad that I use to find somebody on Craigslist. I wasn't inundated with responses because I said exactly what I believed and I was brutally honest about what it was like to work for me. the amazing thing was I found the perfect person in just four days, somebody who believes what I believe. so go ahead, uses the template and see how well you do and don't forget: find somebody who believes what you believe, not just who does what you need them to do.

Newspaper Classifieds

okay, let's tok about classified newspaper ads. now we're toking about offline as now. obviously, you can be advertising online with online classified ads, but partikularly in this training, I want to tok to you about classified newspaper ads. these are very powerful, underestimated and most people have really just going to view this as a secret. because most people on the internet are not toking about running classified newspaper ads for a couple of reasons. one, they don't have an offer that actually converts to, because they're so focused on the internet that they forget one of the most powerful in the history of our time to be able to advertise and market effectively and, more importantly, profit profitably at home is through classified newspaper ads. now, why run classified newspaper ads? right, kind of seems strange. you're an internet marketer. you're becoming in a market of your learning skills about internet marketing. why would you read classified newspaper ads? well, first off, they can become instant targeted traffic. you can run ads in newspapers in classified sections specifically under the headline. so, for instance, what we want to tok about and focus on for this video is that you want to market, you work from home, affiliate link with the system? okay, you can run it in the Help Wanted section, or business opportunities or extra income opportunities or work from home opportunity sections of some newspapers, but most of them will be under general help wanted. it can be very targeted. the second most important thing that you got to understand is that this is a scalable marketing concept. okay, and what I mean by that is, if you're doing some of the free methods that are being taught in the system, you're basically restricted based on how much time you could spend running those ads, right. so if you're doing the online classified yourself manually, you're only restricted to how many ax you can, how much time you can put in a in a personal day. same thing with most of the facebook type ad, social media type marketing and those kind of things. you have to do them, have to continuously keep doing them over again, whereas this is unlimited because of time and the volume that you can actually spread yourself out into. in fact, there's over 4,000 plus newspapers in North America alone, including canada. in the united states, that doesn't include the united kingdom, australia or new zealand. okay, so, and the third reason, because it works. it absolutely one hundred percent works. the owner of this system and many of the top affiliates with this system use either exclusively classified newspaper ads to make their commissions with the work from home affiliate link, or they do a portion of their marketing mix using classified newspaper ads. okay, so those three compelling reasons is why you should pay attention for the rest of this video. in fact, by just using this marketing method alone, you could absolutely make a 6 figure monthly income just with newspaper, newspaper classified ads and your work from home affiliate link. that converts tremendously well in this vertikal. so how are you going to be successful running classified newspaper ads? now it's easy to think: just go big right. but I want you to pay attention and understand the concept behind. going small first is really really important for you to do this. I know it's tempting to do it and just say, hey, I know big, huge newspapers and I can blanket the country with one ad and one phone call or one click of the mouse. but I don't want you to do that. here's why: because you need to find a winning ad first. you need to find the winning newspapers to be able to run that ad and you can make an absolute fortune. so start small, okay, and when I mean small, I'm toking about your local community newspapers. you know, the one that you might just get on a wednesday evening, that's free, delivered to your door, or in a sunday. those are small community newspapers that you can pick them up at the newsstands and your local communities at the drugstore, those kind of things. or they get delivered free to your home. you can pick them up a library, things like that. they're free, usually community newspapers undocking. both those are great ones to start small in, to test it out, or you can expand if you're not in one of those kind of communities, or you can get ahold of one of those you can run in small city daily newspapers. okay for quick, fast results. now, when I say small city dailies, I'm not toking about Sacramento, California. okay, if you live in New York and you think Sacramento is a small city, well, it is compared to New York City but it's still a large city. I'm toking about where circulations are between maybe a thousand and ten thousand people at the most. ok, on the circulation. I'm toking about little cities like twenty, twenty, ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty thousand people living in those cities. that's it. a lot of those cities have daily newspapers. and the reason that you want to start in a small community newspaper or a small daily, two reasons. one, it's very inexpensive to do that generally. and two, because those papers generally get read more and there's less competing ads inside those papers okay. so when you look at a, for instance, the classified section of a new york times or the paper in Sacramento or toronto star or something big like that, there's so many ads in there. very few people anymore spend time in the ones that are spending time, they're browsing really quickly. but the small community newspapers and the small city daily papers, they're really, really looked at because it's a very, very there's not as many ads in them and more more likely that the people in those communities are paying more attention to what's actually going on locally than they are nationally. okay, so that's keep that in mind. the second thing that you want to consider when you're want to have success in classified newspaper ads is that you want to test two things: primarily the headlines and the ad body copy. okay, and you got to test them two separate times. so every time that you test a new community newspaper- okay, or a small newspaper, you're testing that. but then you're also testing the headline- okay, and the headline is the first two to three. if they're small words at the beginning of the ad, that catches someone's attention and they're usually capitalized and bolded okay, and you want it because that's the first thing that's going to catch some of these tension. not the body copy. okay, the headline is the most important thing you want to test. so if you go out there and test an ad and it cost you a few bucks and you don't do so, well, don't give up. that's why I'm telling you to test small and scale big. okay, because you want to test the headline. so you're testing newspapers and also your testing headlines. so let's say you got a great newspaper but the headline sucks. it's not going to be successful. let's say you got a great headline but the newspaper sucks. you have to test them out and really monitor this. and but what? I'm going to show you something that will blow your mind if you take the time to do that. remember, running classified ads and newspapers is really simple, but it can be a little cumbersome on the testing phase because- but it's well worth it, folks- it may take you three, four, five ads for you to be able to find a winning add between the combination of the paper and the headlines in the body copy. okay, but once you find a winner, you can do. the next thing that will make you, Oh Boober, successful, and that is scale up once you have a winning at. so, once you found a newspaper that works and is- show you in a second what you're going to measure that on- and once you have a good headline that's actually getting really getting you clicks and views to your, to your affiliate link and and conversions, then you're going to want to scale up that winning at now again. once you do that, you don't want to change anything because once you've got a profitable one, you're going to run it in as many papers as you possibly can and scale it out. okay, let
