00:00:54 00:01:01 niche whatever but guys the reality of
00:00:57 00:01:05 the situation is that no matter what
00:01:01 00:01:08 your business is you are actually in the
00:01:05 00:01:09 marketing business ok that's what you
00:01:08 00:01:14 need to understand you are in the
00:01:09 00:01:16 marketing business this is why listen
00:01:14 00:01:18 guys the marketing is everything for
00:01:16 00:01:21 your business it literally is it's the
00:01:18 00:01:24 lifeblood of your business ok that's
00:01:21 00:01:26 what you need to understand but a lot of
00:01:24 00:01:28 you you know you focus on things that
00:01:26 00:01:31 don't necessarily move your brand or
00:01:28 00:01:32 your business forward right marketing it
00:01:31 00:01:35 getting it out there in front of your
00:01:32 00:01:37 target and perfect customers ok that's
00:01:35 00:01:38 what you need to be doing right that's
00:01:37 00:01:40 what you need to be focusing on right
00:01:38 00:01:41 outsource the rest of the pieces like
00:01:40 00:01:44 customer service order fulfillment all
00:01:41 00:01:46 that other crap you need to be focused
00:01:44 00:01:49 on the marketing guys that's the key a
00:01:46 00:01:52 lot of people wouldn't outsource their
00:01:49 00:01:54 marketing right but you can't outsource
00:01:52 00:01:55 your marketing guys you can't out to us
00:01:54 00:01:57 here mark outsource your marketing it's
00:01:55 00:01:59 the lifeblood of your business you can't
00:01:57 00:02:01 trust anybody else to do the marketing
00:01:59 00:02:03 of your business ok I don't care how big
00:02:01 00:02:05 like these marketing companies are they
00:02:03 00:02:06 don't know what they're doing ok a lot
00:02:05 00:02:07 of these marketing companies they don't
00:02:06 00:02:09 know what they're doing they do
00:02:07 00:02:11 marketing for like companies that have
00:02:09 00:02:13 unlimited budgets alright you don't have
00:02:11 00:02:14 an unlimited budget I don't have an
00:02:13 00:02:17 unlimited budget we need to do things
00:02:14 00:02:18 smarter better faster right we need to
00:02:17 00:02:19 be profitable we actually need to have a
00:02:18 00:02:21 return
00:02:19 00:02:24 investment when you go to like coca-cola
00:02:21 00:02:26 and see like Doritos or Mountain Dew or
00:02:24 00:02:28 what all these companies that launch you
00:02:26 00:02:30 know campaigns like Super Bowl ads for
00:02:28 00:02:31 example right spending millions and
00:02:30 00:02:33 millions of dollars there's really no
00:02:31 00:02:34 you don't know about the return on
00:02:33 00:02:36 investment that you have there right
00:02:34 00:02:39 they're just trying to build their brand
00:02:36 00:02:40 they're just doing brand awareness at
00:02:39 00:02:43 that point right there's no real
00:02:40 00:02:45 traceable return on investment there but
00:02:43 00:02:48 but if for us for us who are starting
00:02:45 00:02:50 out right for us who might have smaller
00:02:48 00:02:52 businesses have a small local business
00:02:50 00:02:54 or whatever or just you know just trying
00:02:52 00:02:56 to make it happen for us you know our
00:02:54 00:02:58 marketing needs to be bringing in money
00:02:56 00:02:59 we need to know that we can't just go
00:02:58 00:03:01 and be like hey you know we're just
00:02:59 00:03:03 gonna throw up some ads and you know
00:03:01 00:03:05 just get some brand awareness from the
00:03:03 00:03:07 world that won't work guys that just
00:03:05 00:03:09 doesn't work though that only works for
00:03:07 00:03:12 huge companies right and that's why they
00:03:09 00:03:14 can hire these marketing companies and
00:03:12 00:03:15 the marketing companies all they do is
00:03:14 00:03:18 just go and spend a crap ton of money
00:03:15 00:03:20 right just to build brand awareness it's
00:03:18 00:03:22 not real marketing real marketing is
00:03:20 00:03:25 being gonna trace your return on
00:03:22 00:03:27 investment guys right that's the way the
00:03:25 00:03:29 things I teach you the reason I even say
00:03:27 00:03:31 to you sales funnels over anything else
00:03:29 00:03:35 especially when sending cold traffic to
00:03:31 00:03:38 things when you're sending your code
00:03:35 00:03:40 traveling to a funnel you you make money
00:03:38 00:03:42 you're gonna you're gonna be able to you
00:03:40 00:03:44 know dilute your ad costs and pay
00:03:42 00:03:48 yourself right usually your average cart
00:03:44 00:03:50 value in a funnel is going to be closer
00:03:48 00:03:52 to 4x what it would be into a normal
00:03:50 00:03:54 storefront right like a Shopify store
00:03:52 00:03:56 right and that's what you need to
00:03:54 00:03:58 understand when you're using the funnel
00:03:56 00:04:00 right you're gonna be able to pay for
00:03:58 00:04:02 your you know your ad cost right you're
00:04:00 00:04:03 gonna be able to pay for the obviously
00:04:02 00:04:05 the cost of the goods that you just sold
00:04:03 00:04:06 the shipping the product cost obviously
00:04:05 00:04:08 right and you're also gonna be able to
00:04:06 00:04:11 pay yourself because you're making that
00:04:08 00:04:13 extra revenue in your business okay I
00:04:11 00:04:15 hope that I hope that makes sense right
00:04:13 00:04:18 but you you've got to focus you are in
00:04:15 00:04:21 the business of marketing the thing the
00:04:18 00:04:24 business right don't outsource that yet
00:04:21 00:04:26 don't don't please do not outsource that
00:04:24 00:04:28 yeah that literally is literally the i
00:04:26 00:04:29 think i'm russell brunson said on his
00:04:28 00:04:30 podcast was like literally that's the
00:04:29 00:04:31 law
00:04:30 00:04:34 making of your business the marketing
00:04:31 00:04:36 right you have to be passionate about
00:04:34 00:04:38 the marketing and I know I'm kind of
00:04:36 00:04:40 going all over the place right now but
00:04:38 00:04:43 this also comes back guys it comes right
00:04:40 00:04:45 back to being interested in the niche
00:04:43 00:04:48 that you are in that you're actually
00:04:45 00:04:49 passionate about guys like I said like
00:04:48 00:04:51 everybody that I walk through through
00:04:49 00:04:52 six figure funnel or if you come out
00:04:51 00:04:54 here in my mentor program I walk you
00:04:52 00:04:57 through the same steps all right I know
00:04:54 00:05:00 the steps to get you there but the first
00:04:57 00:05:02 step is really finding that niche that
00:05:00 00:05:03 passionate niche that something that
00:05:02 00:05:05 you're interested in something that
00:05:03 00:05:07 you're going to be in for the long term
00:05:05 00:05:10 right because if you're not interested
00:05:07 00:05:11 in it guys your marketing is gonna suck
00:05:10 00:05:14 and you're in the business of marketing
00:05:11 00:05:15 okay that's the business that you are in
00:05:14 00:05:16 okay
00:05:15 00:05:19 so if you're not passionate or
00:05:16 00:05:20 interested in your business the niche
00:05:19 00:05:22 that you chose how are you going to
00:05:20 00:05:24 market something that you don't
00:05:22 00:05:28 understand or don't enjoy or like or
00:05:24 00:05:31 anything right I hope that makes sense
00:05:28 00:05:35 but that is exactly why I say to be
00:05:31 00:05:37 interested in what you're doing okay be
00:05:35 00:05:39 you don't maybe have to be the most
00:05:37 00:05:41 passionate person in the world about it
00:05:39 00:05:42 but you absolutely have to have some
00:05:41 00:05:44 knowledge about it
00:05:42 00:05:46 all right preferably produce something
00:05:44 00:05:50 that you're interested in be passionate
00:05:46 00:05:53 about something right like I had a
00:05:50 00:05:55 student of mine guys literally she was a
00:05:53 00:05:57 retiree and we you know I pushed her
00:05:55 00:06:00 found what she was interested in found
00:05:57 00:06:02 out hey she loves sewing sewing or
00:06:00 00:06:04 crocheting stuff for presents and
00:06:02 00:06:05 Christmas presents and birthday presents
00:06:04 00:06:07 and stuff and I was it perfect you know
00:06:05 00:06:09 what we went out there we found her like
00:06:07 00:06:11 sewing needles crochet needles whatever
00:06:09 00:06:13 on plug it into a funnel and she's doing
00:06:11 00:06:14 well living in her second week and of
00:06:13 00:06:16 course there was a learning curve for
00:06:14 00:06:19 her she was a retiree right
00:06:16 00:06:21 she made six hundred and forty seven
00:06:19 00:06:23 dollars literally her second week and
00:06:21 00:06:24 that mean that isn't a life changing on
00:06:23 00:06:26 of money but guess what that's a win
00:06:24 00:06:27 that's gonna propel her forward or I
00:06:26 00:06:30 keep her moving forward keep her
00:06:27 00:06:32 motivated right to hit that every single
00:06:30 00:06:34 week and even more a week after week
00:06:32 00:06:37 after week but guys that's what I want
00:06:34 00:06:39 you guys to take away from this video to
00:06:37 00:06:42 understand that your business is
00:06:39 00:06:46 is your business is marketing right it's
00:06:42 00:06:48 not you know focusing on on tasks that
00:06:46 00:06:50 don't necessarily move your brand or
00:06:48 00:06:53 your business forward and that really
00:06:50 00:06:54 comes down to being interested being
00:06:53 00:06:56 passionate and the niche think about it
00:06:54 00:06:57 guys if you're not interested in what
00:06:56 00:06:59 you're doing how are you going to create
00:06:57 00:07:00 social media posts how are you gonna
00:06:59 00:07:02 create Facebook Ads toking to your
00:07:00 00:07:04 target market right the marketing all
00:07:02 00:07:06 right how are you going to do that if
00:07:04 00:07:08 you're not interested in it right it
00:07:06 00:07:10 does that make sense I hope that makes
00:07:08 00:07:13 sense guys right you have to be
00:07:10 00:07:15 interested in what you're toking about
00:07:13 00:07:17 otherwise you're gonna wake up six
00:07:15 00:07:19 months down the line from now and hate
00:07:17 00:07:21 what you created that happened to me
00:07:19 00:07:23 it's happened to a ton of people that I
00:07:21 00:07:24 know right you hate that you hate your
00:07:23 00:07:27 audience you hate your customers you
00:07:24 00:07:28 hate everybody you know that you that
00:07:27 00:07:30 what you created and I don't want that
00:07:28 00:07:32 for you and I understand like you people
00:07:30 00:07:33 love to jump from thing to thing to
00:07:32 00:07:35 thing like that's the most common thing
00:07:33 00:07:37 I see with my students is like you have
00:07:35 00:07:39 all these ideas trust me I get I get
00:07:37 00:07:40 millions of ideas a day that I want to
00:07:39 00:07:43 act on I know there's gonna be quick
00:07:40 00:07:45 cash right but guess what that takes me
00:07:43 00:07:47 away from my business putting my
00:07:45 00:07:49 business forward the more successful you
00:07:47 00:07:51 get guys honestly the more opportunities
00:07:49 00:07:55 that are really going to come out to you
00:07:51 00:07:57 like it's crazy all right but I want you
00:07:55 00:07:59 to stay focused stay focused on building
00:07:57 00:08:01 your business being passionate about
00:07:59 00:08:03 your topic creating good content about
00:08:01 00:08:05 your topic because you're passionate
00:08:03 00:08:07 about it right and that comes out in
00:08:05 00:08:09 your marketing your passion comes out in
00:08:07 00:08:11 your marketing and nobody ever can
00:08:09 00:08:14 duplicate that okay nobody can ever
00:08:11 00:08:15 duplicate that guys so I'm going to end
