Ad Text: Spooky Halloween Bark I am very excited to work with Tesco to bring you this Creepy Halloween Bark! 👻🎃 It’s the easiest treat to make and prepare and it’s seriously impressive 👌🏼 Tesco had all I needed to make this, from the chocolate, sweets, food colourings and DIY eyeballs. I’ll list everything I used below but you can really get creative with this as there are tons of treats to choose from in store! Get the kids involved and make it an activity 🎃🖤 What I used: * 2 bars dark chocolate 200g * 1 bar milk chocolate 100g * 2 bars white chocolate 100g For decoration I used - Orange, Brown & Green M&Ms - Salted caramel Flipz Pretzels - Oreos - Sour Worms - Jelly Snakes - Aero Peppermint Bubbles - Homemade ‘eyeballs’ (see tips) What to do: - Melt the dark and milk chocolate together in the microwave and check at 30 second intervals to stir (use any chocolate you fancy here! I love dark chocolate!) - Melt the white chocolate the same way and divide it into three. - I used orange and purple food colouring on two and left the third white but get creative and experiment! (see tips on how I achieved these colours below). - Next, pour the dark and milk melted chocolate onto a tray lined with baking paper and smooth it out into a rectangle. - Now dot the coloured white chocolate on top with some streaks & using a chopstick or a toothpick make swirls until you get some gorgeous patterns. - Now, add any sweets you like, I used M&Ms, broken up salted caramel pretzels, Aero bubbles and halved & broken Oreo with homemade eyeballs stuck on with a dap of melted chocolate. (Save the worm and snake jellies for ‘garnish’ decoration after it’s solid) - Pop it into the fridge for 15-20 mins or the freezer for 5-10 mins if you’re in a rush (keep an eye on this!) - Break it into shards, top with snake and worm jellies and dig in. - It also makes a great Halloween gift if you wrap some pieces up in cellophane ♥️ TIPS: To make the coloured chocolate I used food colouring that I purchased in Tesco. - Yellow & red to make orange - Red & blue to make purple Green would be very cool to use also! EYEBALLS: Use Ready to Roll Tesco Fondant icing and make them into small balls, flatten, then use a dot of melted dark chocolate, a sprinkle, a chocolate chip or a small piece of chocolate for the pupil. #ad #houseofhalloween #fyi #foryoupage #foryou #halloweenrecipes #halloweenrecipe #tesco
